Larko,
If you need some help "carrying" the kit then I'll be heading up to the shop early Saturday to buy a fin or two...
Everyone else either email Larko or me bkirk @ boomerangexecutive.com.au and we'll organise mobile numbers etc to be sent around the group...
I'm off to the shop tomorrow to pick up a demo board also so it sounds like we could end up with quite a bit of kit down there on the weekend potentially. I'm sure now though after talking about it so much it won't end up blowing ![]()
Balls, I hadn't thought of that!
What are you demoing? Is anyone going to pick up that crazy little speed board up there? ![]()
Guys, Im pretty sure one of the boards is this years 90 ltr Fanatic Falcon slalom. Sam has done some pretty sweet speeds on this thing.
Ill have a iSonic 111 and some other goodies including an AB+ 90 ltr I picked up in Maui last year. Plus Sam's 5.4 RS Racing if it gets serioulsy windy.
So email or call if you are keen, BOM as usual is saying big stuff and SB is saying around 20+ so hopefully we get something.
Cheers
As per bloody usual we have jinxed ourselves and the forecast has gone way down. I dont care, Im still going.
After last weekends fiasco anything has gotta be good.
Guys,
There's an Andrew D. registered in the cockroaches, but I'm not sure that he belongs there. Does anyone know an Andrew D. in your team?
Sandringham??? Do you mean St Georges River? It's only really good when the tide is low, and the bar is exposed.
I'm getting confused - emails, PM's, posts, they're all different! Especially Grant, who's Larko, who's KA43 (I think)...
So...
Katapult = David, rides X-cite ride?
Crash = Me/Ben, rides anything but usually an RRD FSW
Chris Ting = Chris Ting (guessing), rides NP and JP Slalom?
Windsurfnsnow = Sam, rides shiny things
Sick_em = Andrew, rides (no idea)
KA43 = Grant who everyone calls Larko who rides Fanatic Falcon 111 and AB+ 58 and uses Maui Sails TR's.
Kukahi =
Waiting4wind =
Wineman =
Townie = Mark, rides an Eagle/F2 Maui Project and gun/tushy sails
I ride at present a Fanatic Ultra Hawk and use a selection of late 90's sails. I'm turning the big 40 soon hence why I'm demoing some boards as that's gonna be my present from the wife. Trying to maybe pick up 1 or 2 sails also to pull me into the new millenium.

My shiny little toys for this year are F2 Missile XS (got to get that back from Mal Wright, although he does stand a better chance of using it down that way), JP Slalom III 69 and 89. Sails are RS Racing down to 4.6.
Not a bad little quiver when you write it down. Just hope for some little gear days soon.

Hey Crash,
Don't forget to post your Narrabeen session from the other day.
You should also see if you can log that 34 knot session you mentioned. The highest I can see in sessions segment is 30.2. Might help on our overall front.
Did you get my e-mail for the Alpha runs from the other day. They were crappy but I should post them anyway.
Se you on the weekend.
Sam.
Sam, unfortunately the 34 knot run was on the isonic that i borrowed from you which was a month before the comp happened!!! Shame. I didn't get an email from you but did Chris's.

You should at least put it on the GPS Sessions segment on Seabreeze.
I'll resend through the alpha stats.
Kukahi: The Speeeeed Quiver: Sea Skip,Wayler Ypsi, TC Spacer, Rotho and Ripcurl masts, DeVries 7.7 - 6.6, Gaastra Wavefoil Pro 5.2- 4.6, Z booms and assorted older fins. All bought for top dollar from Larko back in the day.

Mate, that was the gun stuff back in those days.
You did forget the Bombora Tri-fin, the Mystere Shuttle and Marc Siers double luff wave sails!!

Hi guys,
I'll be there Sat too. I have the JP xcite ride and mix of NP / Gaastra sails.
See you all there.
David
Kyeemagh will be choppier than a butchers shop. Surely in our great expanses of water in Sydney and it's surrounds there has to be a decent piece of water that's flattish in a south east wind!!!
Anyway, I got the demo board today so as long as I get out on SOME water I'll be happy. Let's just try and make sure we let each other know where a few of us will be at least.

But then there is the super secret spot known as Bayview tennis courts which then leads to the sand spit under the Newport Arms beer garden. I sailed this place years ago and it only works in certain directions and I have NFI if it will work in a SE.
Strewth, it will probably be 10 knots by the time Sat comes around.
Not putting the mocca on anything of course![]()
