This is the team as I know it at the moment. If the guys below can get in touch with me at the shop with some off internet contact details that would be sweet. There may be more guys I've missed out on in this list so let me know if that's the case and we can put through the correct details of our team to Hardie.

You also need to get your signed rego forms in to Hardie as listed in another post.

Team Members:
Sam Parker.
Grant Larkin.
Chris Christensen.
Andrew Donovan.
David Flanagan.
Ben Kirk.
Chris Ting.
Rick Murray.
Uncle Mike Nelson.
John Hurley (current top ranked Irish Formula guy). You happy now!

Once we've got all the details we start to hatch our plan to win this thing in spite of ****-all happening at the moment. Might be a bit of wind around for the weekend so we can maybe get something started then.

Cheers,

Sam.

You and any other speed curious guys in Sydney are welcome to come and try some fast kit. Always something floating around the shop. Just let me know and I'll see what I can find.

Sam.

You may not be able to compete but you can still be involved.

Heres a vitally important roles for you in the team

Only a suggestion but I'm sure the rest of your team mates will welcome you with open arms (especially if you bring beer)

We should get some roach stickers made, so that we can recognise the "Team" on the water.

Rig Betty

Firstly you wouldn't want me to rig for you - I think you want to go fast not crash and burn.
Beer Boy

Did you say beer no proplem - but i'll drink it all before you guys get back to shore. Besides in winter I think a Hot chocolate and a meat pie may go down better.
Jeez, I think you may want a rig/beer wench, something pretty to look at certainaly not an old man like me.

Cheers

Fellow cockroaches, I sell promotional products for a living, ie; screenprinted tee shirts, caps etc
I am happy to get some tees and or caps done for us all at cost price (i hit the bosses up for sponsorship freebies but no bites yet but I haven't given up trying, they want to know what they'll get out of it so if there's a chance I may get some flow on business then I'm in with a big shot). If you are all interested do we have a budding designer out there that wants to come up with a logo of sorts? If we keep the design pretty simple in colours (one colour 1 side print!) then the price would be around $10.00 a tee (add a couple of bucks for each subsequent colour)if we do an embroidered cap it would be all of about $8.00.
What do we think???

OK as an adendum to that last post, I spoke to one of the bosses again who has relented and said as long as the numbers don't increase substantially then he will let me do tees free of charge. All he asks is that in the future if any of you may be thinking of purchasing promotional products you keep us in mind. Rather than making this a free advertising forum please feel free to PM me with your details if you'd like further info on my company.

What I now need from all you cockies is preference of colour for the tee and your individual sizes. Most importantly though is a logo!!
Any takers for ideas???? I've given the brief to our graqphic designer here at work and she'll work on something for us but it would be good to have a few ideas from people.

Actually Chris I said the same thing. A couple of my suppliers do rash vests so I'll look into it and see what I can do. The only reason I wasn't so keen on them was cause most of the time they will be covered up under a wetsuit. A t-shirt can be worn on more occasions obviously. I'm happy to hear what other guys think also before we go ahead and do this though.
I appreciate the Stormriders offer too.

Cheers.

All you have to do Az is get some non slip on the "Pyke Special" and your in. Men of your stature are hard to come across.

Hey Shear,

If you want to have a bash at the speed stuff I have a spare GPS or 2 at the shop. Come by and take one for the day along with some fast kit if you want. Give me a shout and get out there.

Can I recommend if you get some team runs in, to hang on to the data, and maybe post a summary of it here. What ben at zensoft is creating, should enable us to log in the data of every team session, every time one is done, and the computer will do all the work, so should be fully automated. Ben is in process of finishing off, but won't committ to a deadline/timeline coz it puts unnecessary pressure on him, remember "he's doing it for US FOR FREE". Should be brilliant when it's done. The idea is everyone gives their data to Team Captain who logs onto website, inputs data, and data base does the rest. So be patient my little furry penguins!!!!!!!

Since you guys seem to be on-line a lot, can I just say the idea of the comp was "one thing", and we have developed it to a point where everyone is excited.........

However, it will be the website that will make it happen, I've seen the first versions of it........ Guys it's brtilliant and it's ours to play on.......... I keep wanting you guys to see it, I'm like a little kid 47 going on 7. The website makes it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you guys are getting!!!!!!!!! YUZE R GONNA LUV IT!!!!!!
