Hey Shear,
If you want to have a bash at the speed stuff I have a spare GPS or 2 at the shop. Come by and take one for the day along with some fast kit if you want. Give me a shout and get out there.
Sam.
Non slip and the fact that the fin box was put in on the wrong angle. Anyone got a saw I can borrow??
Hi Sick em Rex, I just bought a whole bunch of promo gear but will need more in a few weeks, so drop me an email with your web link and we'll see what we can do.

Hi all, I have just uploaded into pictures a logo of something our graphic artist has come up with for the design for our tees/rashies. Can you guys let me know what you think and if you'd like to add any text and if so what?
Waiting for wind, many thanks, I have emailed you my details and I hope to hear from you sometime soon.
Looks pretty good to me. I cannot make out if he is wearing a Foretrex or a Navi :-)
He also looks far cooler then I do on the water, but then again, a real cockroach on a board would have a good chance of that too.
I suppose the word should include "NSW CockRoaches, GPS Speed Team Challenge, 2007" and probably your companies name too (as they become the shirt sponsor)
JB
I love the T-Shirt design!!!
The gauntlet has been truly hammered down!!!!!!
NB. We have dropped the word "speed" It is now "GPS Team Challenge"
We are trying to organise official rashies, with the sponsors names added as well......
Sick
Looks great. How difficult is it to get names on shirts? Our forum names or real names?
Thanks for sorting it out!
Looks pretty cool, definitely the go.
If Hardie is trying to organise rashies then T's for us NSW guys would be great
Hi fellow cockies, just wanted to let you know I'm off overseas for 4 weeks on Sunday so I'll have to look after the tees when I get back. I'll get our graphic designer to put the text on the logo and try and post it tomorrow or Friday and we can sign off from there.
Thanks also to all who have contacted me re future business. I really look forward to meeting you guys and even better sailing with you all soon!
By the way, I'm going to the UK and I'll yake my GPS. Turns out one place I'm going is right near Kirby which is the place a lot of the UK guys are getting their good speeds at. If I can commandeer a board while I'm there I might be able to pick me up a PB!!![]()
Tee shirt logo with text has been uploaded to the photos section. Let me know what you all think!
I've also added a design for the Victorians if you guys are interested and if there is enough interest from the other states I can do something for them too. Obviously the text needs to change for the VIC tee.
S_E_R,
I am not too sure about the TopGun quote. It may be construed that we follow a cult of midget cradle snatchers.
How about...
"Be wise with speed . A fool at forty is a fool indeed."
Edward Young (1683 - 1765)
or
"Feck! Nuns! Reverse! Reverse!"
Father Jack
or
"Bear Away, Get Planing, Go Faster"
Sage advice from Uncle Mike, 2007
:-)

I am still like a reject, flapping my way around the bay. At this stage I have had all the advice, read all the articles, and watched all the DVD's, and I still cannot get onto the plane efficiently. I am beginning to think there is an anti-paddy conspiracy going on here.
But I am focusing on that aspect for now, and am sure I will crack it soon. Once that happens I only need to learn to tack and gybe, sail upwind and downwind and I will rise through the ranks to my rightful place at the pointy end of the fleet - or at least thats the plan.
JB
Morning Cocks.
So, if there's a little bit of westerly around for Saturday should we all meet up and see if we can post some speeds?
Sam, any idea where we can head to in Westerly?
Cheers!
Hey Crash,
Foreshore Drive at Botany or Pipeclay Pt on Narra Lake both work in a westerly. Looks like OK between 8-12 then slowly dropping.
Only thing with Botany is the rock spiders [}:)]

Will be hanging with the rock spiders Friday about midday. Forecast is pretty damn good for a bit of Foreshore action in the W/NW stuff.
It's sounds a bit bad saying this considering the location but I think we 2 dudes for a session to count. Who's coming with me?
I've already justified the time off by keep telling myself it's an R & D session. My new RS Racing's aren't going to test themselves.
Hope to see some of you out there,
Sam.

Id love to Sam but its just busy at this time of year to get away with it. Daves got it spot on Jethrow.
If you head out from Tin Shed (Wakehurst Parkway side) just go upwind until you get up around the huge rock on the road side. From there you can bear off to use the dead flat water under the sand spit. Doesnt go for long but its the closest to Sandy Pt flat Ive seen around here. Saturday still looks OK in the morning, so get there early.
Hi guys,
Would love to get out Friday Sam but unfortunately have to work. :(
Saturday morning is looking good still. I'll be heading to Foreshore Rd early. Hope to see some of you there.
David
So who got out?
Looks like Katapult got a 26 knot run and i managed a 28 knot run.. Any other cockroaches out and about?
I think we can post for 2 days now with Friday and Saturday letting us get out there. Chris Ting got 29ish and I got a 31.97 on Friday up at Palm Beach. Heard that KA 43 did a 30 something with Chris Christenson doing 29.9 at Narrabeen Lake.
Pretty good going considering how crap the conditions were.
Keep an eye on the westerlies at the lake. The current lake record held by Chris Ting of 38.0 could be blown away this year.
Sam.
