first time in my life has this happened...... i surfed laceys home ground on thursday morning...... older bloke on a nice MR flying fish starts talking to us. He was a very chatty and very nice bloke.
he says to my mate dingo and i that kingscliff had some really nice waves before he left home. Dingo and i laugh and say wtf are you doing here, Old mate was saying nah mate,noone else was out so i didnt want to paddle out on my own,the points are to busy so im here.
We laughed some more and went out with old mate to surf some **** waves.
so paranoia is high down there,and shark nets and drum lines make them happy..........

I was talking to dazzler I think it is. he posts in here. hes a time alley man and he reckons there are stacks of people out there that surf well be he's never seen. put it down to shark vibes over the board and people not so keen to surf in lonely places.

My home beach. This happened literally in front on my house ..... Very friggin worrying. I have been fishing the area at night of late for Jew and have lost more baits to big sharks this year than any other
I have surfed it twice in the last two weeks only as it has felt really really iffy in the water there.....absolute bugger this has happened. Not good
As for the GWS. Yes there has been one of the local beaches and yes it is a 4mtr animal. Seen it???.....Yes!
