It's not being ignored by politicians. You keep on telling us how Craig Kelly (unqual.) MP is fighting the good fight to bring this possible treatment on. He's a polly.
The pollies whose decisions matter are being advised by the medical professionals and I'm sure that they (the doctors) are quite aware of any studies going on.
Those doctors know more than you or me about what is a good idea medically and I doubt that they are running a huge conspiracy to deny people proper treatments for covid.

They were talking about deaths from the vaccine last night too. 71 for millions of people vaccinated. Most of those were elderly and had known problems!! A news reader gave the minister of health a pretty hard time last night.
So some of the vaccines they are hoping to have most of France vaccinated by the end of August with aren't even approved yet!!
Now we know the effectivness is nowhere near what the companies said what are the new numbers on effectivness ,how long will it take to reach heard immunity etc. He couldn't answer anything! Just kept spitting out numbers. The reporter kept saying they are numbers if the vaccines get approved and with 80-90 per cent effectiveness. We now know thats not true. What are the new numbers.

Non approved masks are not allowed anymore??? Why now. Why have you been letting people wear non approved masks for so long? If you say people have to wear the new type of mask, FFP2 can you gaurentee there are enough to go around and we dont go through the whole there's not enough masks again. No answer.

Surely you jest! HB33 will not be able to tell you anything about these and will just post up another meme or accuse you of not understanding and to 'educate yourself'.
The go with HCQ and Ivermectin is that they are not being approved. That's it! Not approved, so it must be the government trying to keep a cure from us for the virus that is meant to kill us all so that they can administer the vaccine to us that is meant to kill us all.
It's all about 'them'. No matter the problem. It's them.
The go with HCQ and Ivermectin is that they are drugs which nobody holds a patent for.
So nobody is spending as much effort to do the studies and get them approved because they won't see much return without a patent.
7 billion people in the world.
Think of the revenue if you have the patent on what you can prove to be the best drug, which requires two shots a year due to mutating virus strains.
So are they are being deliberately ignored, or just that other alternate solutions are being promoted far more because they have a much bigger financial return for the promoters ?
Are any downsides with them promoted by the other developers more than they highlight their own vaccines downsides ?

Question isn't "in theory if everyone is vaccinated and it works would it make a difference", question is "in the imperfect world where the current vaccines work about as well as the yearly flu vaccines, and where you live in WA will it really make a difference if you take it ?"
I am guessing that history will show the answer is "no". In 10 or 20 years time I reckon history will say how ineffective the first generation vaccines were and how face masks, indoor filtration systems, general slight shifts in how we interact and the subsequent gen4/5/6 vaccines had a far greater affect.
Not saying I wouldn't get the jab. Just that I don't think it will make much of a difference either way. It ain't gonna allow Bill Gates to alter my DNA and it ain't gonna stop COVID anytime soon.

Well, Mr Carantoc, if that indeed is your name... I take offense at your comments about Elgrands and see that you are also in WA? What's the go with that? Did you get your relocation orders from the NWO as well? I was sent here to track down one P M 3 4, but he seems to have gone underground. I drove one of the Elgrands from NSW to WA and it was very comfortable and 3 times the speed of a grey nomad.
That aside, my personal random-arse belief is that we will end up with a variant of this virus over time that will be relatively benign and displace this existing one. I even wonder if this could be engineered or would happen naturally. I mean, if you caught a virus, but never really knew you had it and it passed to everyone, would anyone stop it? Would anyone be able to stop it? Would a variant that was relatively harmless stop you from getting the bad one and it would die out? Evolution suggests that viruses that kill quickly tend to die out.
You never asked that though and asked if I thought if it would make any difference if I took the vaccine. Yes I do, but only if a large majority take it around the same time or exposure is controlled so that those exposed to it are immune.
Do we give it now to those that are most at risk, and then over time, after the rest of us have caught it or died, we end up with a population where most people are naturally immune to it? The 'new old people' having caught it earlier in their life and thus less likely to be affected by it?
After the Spanish Flu, the world would have ended up with a large number of people that were not affected too much by it, or those that were had died. We aren't going to get that this time, but can we end up with the same thing by vaccinating as many people as we can instead?
My understanding is that the 'normal' flu viruses that we see today are decendents of the Spanish Flu virus, obviously less aggressive. Will this repeat, but by a slightly different method?

Have a look at this week's New Scientist. Some people think that Sars-Cov-2 will eventually become just another childhood sniffle.
The idea comes from the observation that children don't get as severe a disease from the virus as adults do. It stays in the nose and upper respiratory tract like any old cold (it seems that there are 4 other coronaviruses that cause colds) and trains the immune response over time.
The problem is that only applies to children. For the rest of us, we might as well be the inhabitants of Amazonia who got wiped out by European viruses in the 16th century.
It might take quite a few years to reduce the vulnerability of the population of adults to the disease. Until then, take the vaccine. Think of it as just another tat, but with invisible ink.

Yeah, its funny isn't it. Some of these people that hate vaccines are happy to get tattoos and take some natural remedies that are frowned upon.
I would suggest that it would make sense to engineer a mild version of this virus and release it into the wild, but we humans do not have a good record of success with these sorts of approaches

If the Jewish people are a favorite group to blame amongst conspiracy theorists, how do they reconcile Istrael spending up big on vaccines and vaccinating a huge proportion of their population quickly?
