Hang on, I just had a rush of blood to the head and figured out I need a 38cm which is what I use on my screamer ( board not wife) so I will give that a go

6.6 sail = 35 cm fin by the formula, but the moral of the story is take a couple of fins and try them to see what works...

Don't think the wind will be much above 15 knots for me tomorrow, 100 k's is a long way to slog Hope it's blowing for you!

Cant make it 2morrow have a sail for me Fin size also depends on what angle to wind you are sailing ie square or broad (smaller). Seriously thinking of getting some better fins Yeah Nebs, take many and experiment.

Slog, slog slog

I only managed 32 k's worth, 99.9% of this was slogging

The nose repair held though, and the GPS holder worked really well. No spikes whatsoever

Hmmmm... OK but only 'cos you asked nicely...

I made an armband thing with a zipper and velcro that is custom-sized for a NAVI inside an Aquapak. Very comfortable to wear, and exactly the right size

Forecast's still looking OK at this stage, low tide's at 3:30pm. I'm happy to make the trek up, it would be good to put some times up for the next month... might put Qld back into its rightful place at the top of the table [}:)]

I'll try to stay away from the sandbank this time.

Wind looks a bit light Nebs, where r u getting your forecast from ?

My forecast comes from a very "glass-half-full" approach to weather forecasting, ignoring all predictions that don't meet with what I would like to see, and generally hoping for the best

You're right though, it may be a little light

I'm still keen to put some runs on the board though!

No times from me. Can't go this weekend either. Hopefully something will come just after June 10....RS Racing 6.7 will arrive. Another knot or two just from knowing it's faster than the ye old V8.

Also ripping into a few extra winter wines and brews to get heavier. It works well 85 kgs.
