Yes, if you haven't received a tracking code yet, it hasn't shipped.
I have 13 parcels to Oceania at risk right now already. I'll add 4 more parcels Tuesday or Wednesday containing 15 Minis and 1 LCD.
Once these 13 parcels start hitting Australia, I'll send 2x 3 LCD, 3x 2 LCD and 2x4 LCD to end it all.
If I lose 4 Mini, it ain't the end of the world. If I lose 4 LCD, it's hell.
How did all these shipments go Julien, did they get to the customers yet, love to hear some customer feedback on the latest LCDs sent, I don't see posts saying anyone got theirs yet
Cheers
Rod
I have got half my order; got the 4 Mini last week. The other half of the order, the 4 LCD units, will be shipped soon, I am sure. ![]()

Trimmer reading between the lines, it would seem only the mini units are arriving, the LCD's are mainly just circling the world and then returning to the sender

Hi Julien,
Tried emailing but haven't received a reply yet, has the LCD motion I ordered been shipped yet as I've received no tracking Information or been notified that its been dispatched
I'm laying low while the few remaining late devices leave. There's a complete disconnect on what I read here and how insane I found the year to have been. Nearly all black line devices have been replaced, the Mini queue is cleared, the european LCD queue will be cleared in two months, the inventory of parts is built for six months to come, I'm going back full time January 1st, very very few real issues, users seem happy with them, I see plenty of them in use live and that's awesome. It's by far the best period so far. And way bigger than I ever expected it would be.
Tell you what, it's like I finally got a boost to the morale these past few days/weeks from seeing devices in use at different competitions. At some point, I started wondering if people were really using them because there were so little live action visible.
When I made backup devices for Bloodhound LSR, I wouldn't believe the engineers telling me they were working fine and they had nothing special to report. It's a little like that.
Luckily there's plenty of live images/videos right now.
Thanks for your persistence Julien. The LCD and Mini are great units. I've had trouble free use of both units. I'm looking forward to the firmware upgrade in the LCD unit.
Thanks for all the effort Julien. I received my screen Motion back in March 2019. I have used it for every speed session for 2 1/2 years. It' s worked perfectly every time. I also have a couple of minis which also work perfectly.
Hate to put a downer on this. But I've just bought a renovated GW60, because the old one is so close to dead, I don't think it will last until my lcd motion arrives.
Thanks for your continuing updates on production, parts, supply status Julien, and it is fantastic to see photos of the worlds top speedsters using the LCD motion at iconic speed sailing events.
The guys requests in the posts above weren't knocking the product but asking for an update on the shipping of last years LCDs orders to Australia. Its great the minis are still coming and that the European backlog will be cleared in two months but could you update us on your note of 18th October on the Australian parcels of LCDs that were ready to be shipped?
thank you
Derryn

This is still the programme. I sent 7 LCD and 6 Mini to Oceania last week. If you're part of Derryn or Mickey's orders, you're literally the last orders I took from Oceania.
There's six queues:
- european LCD replacements which now sits at 2,
- oceania LCD replacements which now sits at 5,
- european LCD queue which now sits at 4,
- oceania LCD queue which now sits at 10,
- european Mini queue which now sits at 0,
- oceania Mini queue which now sits at 8 but all leave with LCDs.
Then there's the waiting list.
Hi Julien I'm not sure what's happened I have tried to email you , I am in Australia and haven't received my order of 2 X mini loggers
And 2x lcd
Thanks for confirming the program Julien, that's great to know 7 LCDs were sent last week. @NP RGSD, Julien might not know who you are by your seabreeze user name, but you should be in the numbers above if your payment was last October like mine.
Let's see how the shipping timeframe goes with these current parcels, I have one parcel of minis on the way that left Belgium 23 October, hopefully with Australia now reopening it's international borders, there's more flights in next weeks/months carrying small freight parcels

Well I ordered in Jan 2020 and paid February 2020, my patience is running out, when people that paid after me are getting theirs. I guess there aren't as many orders in WA, but Daffy did say he'd take mine and post it over. Then Daffy's parcel had to be reduced for tax reasons. And I'm still waiting.

There are still pros in getting a GW60 as long as like all equipment you accept that it won't last forever
-available worldwide (soon as you pay it gets posted)
-accurate to an acceptable standard for all windsurfing applications
-very wearable
-easy to read on the water
-some are lasting up to 3 years
So I guess it costs the average windsurfer about $200 a year because they don't last forever, I get that and some windsurfers don't want to spend that amount of money, but a lot are happy to spend thousands each year getting the latest other kit among other things
To put into context sailors are buying Z fins and from what hear after a couple years of use they are prone to failure, I have personal experience with this happening
We need to wait 3 years and then make to call if Motion is better in the long game, lets see how the motion battery in it's sealed case is going then
Will this Motion business survive, it's anyone's guess based on the cryptic replies from the manufacturer
I am sorry for any distress from what I have written causes those who are putting blind faith in the motion lotto, if something seems too good to be true it most likely is
Another option is just get a garmin and post to a site that accepts it, but don't expect that watch to last for ever either, my wife has had 4 gps devices over the last 10years for running and none are currently still working, each of these cost more than the GW60
There is a 3rd option
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Gps/Another-DIY-GPS-logger-approach?page=5#20
Then you can just complain to yourself why it takes so long to get bits and pieces.
I ordered a plastic junction box's 2 months ago for the DIY, I'm expected to get it mid December (they haven't said which one yet).
Hat's off to Jullien, he is just one man, trying to provide a quality specialized device (in his spare time) for a worldwide community with all the crap going on in the world. Try to remember that.

When I purchased my half price refurbished GW60, I was told that those in stock are the last available, it's end of line for the GW60, and there's no plans for a replacement.
So if you don't want to make one yourself, and you don't want to wait for a motion, and want to post to the GPSTC.
Better snap up the last of the GW60s and treat it very very well!
I'm not sure about my refurbished one yet. I had to set it up manually the was trouble doing it from the util. It said it had saved the settings, but not all of them had "taken" they were still on the default. Refurbished ones have no warranty, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that between the ancient end of life unit and this new one, they last until the motion gets here.

Who? There's a huge gap in orders due to the black line era in which I barely took any order. So even January 2020 was the tail-end of the paid queue.

I wish I had the scrutiny of big brands instead. 1 year delay? It's normal, it's top-tech-innovation. Water-soaked? Just buy one per year, and an aquapac. Poor logs? Can't be, I paid top dollar for it!
There's an interesting forest for the tree bias lately; casually excluding all devices that were on time and that work fine every day.

Just going by this post here Julien, Dezza says she paid for hers in October, I paid for mine in February
And I have no knowledge of all the success stories, I'm only concerned with my own experience.
But I appreciate, all the problems you've had and the great job you're doing, I'm just getting impatient.
Derryn's parcel-on-the-way contains Minis. The very tail of the LCD queue, as they all post here anyway, is Derryn, Mickey, Byron (lost device).

Sorry Julien, I jumped to too may conclusions.

Thanks for the heads up decrepit, they have not put a notice on their website yet
If you got the refurb watch direct from Locosys themselves am sure it will be fine for a couple of years, enjoy ![]()

My $300 Garmin watch was purchased in 2017 and has been on my wrist almost 24/7 since. It gets used for running and at least 2 swims a week as well as my less frequent windsurfing. I could walk into a shop today and get a replacement if it failed (as it is well beyond warranty). Still holding 7 days of battery life when not using GPS. Has a screen to give me feedback on my activity and uploads via bluetooth without even touching my phone just by stopping the activity. It even tells the time and my HR plus many other things. Only issue I have had is the little clip that holds the excess band broke (out of warranty). I emailed Garmin and they sent a replacement at no charge.
Yes Vosadrian Garmin do make great watches. They employ 16,000 people, but not one of those employees is able to program any of their products to the required standard for high speed windsurfing. So the comparison to the Motion is meaningless.
