Anybody got the inside to when the comp will restart?

Looks like girls Sat and guys Sunday, but i've got a feeling they may run both Sat, if the wind played nice..

Cheers JB boy they had some good waves earlier on.

Yeah just trying to work out when to head down. Sat or Friday night. One night in a Swag is about my limit

Some fine surfing again on finals day in somewhat tricky conditions. I just realised why i was enjoying this comp so much ... great carving turns ON the wave and not an air reverse in sight.

They kept that part super quiet. Out of the blue they called a hold to the heat and the surfers came in. The people on the hill hardly even really flinched. It gave the break back to the locals for about 20 minutes to catch a hand full of waves. Water patrol just sat out the back and no body bothered to warm the 8 or so surfers 100 m away either.

Salmon schools are everywhere, the entire bay seemed to be full of Salmon at one point..Apparently during free surf a few days earlier a largish Great white swam up and showed its "Polished" white belly to a small group of pros..

Sharks are everywhere down south ATM. The Pro's spent days of catching salmon and filming sharks..

JJF was absolutely tearing..

My son and went for a surf on Sat and only noticed the sign coming out..No date so could be just a general warning, who knows..Needless to say, his mum wasn't as amused as we were

How good was that! The Aussie Leg this year has been Epic!! Hope the rest of the tour produces the goods. Great win by Jordy, epic surfing all round, people losing heats with 18's under their belts!!

Bit disappointing today. Called it off last week when it was good and run it today in pretty ordinary conditions.
World title race copped a bit of a shake up with the favourites going out but great to see the young blokes and rookies stepping up.

I was hoping to watch it online at work but my streaming wasn't working, anybody else have a issue?
I can't see it being replayed tonight on fox as they normally have a highlights show.

The live cross worked okay for me, on my laptop via the WSL site... (it didn't start til late -- noon or so) www.worldsurfleague.com/events/2017/mct/1867/outerknown-fiji-pro
There's a short highlights vid there (and a few of the best waves of the day if you click around -- as i'm sure you know ).
But you didn't miss much. Hopefully a swell bump will arrive for the finals and it will get funky.

Well said. I agree.
Some great waves and surfing in today's finals. (Much needed after a couple of lacklustre days). Best I've seen Wilko surf.
