Yeah it was pretty good down here. 
It came it pretty solid and went the 8m.
Wind dropped a little so I got the 10m out.
Was awesome, picked up again and was lit for the next 3 hours or so.
Beach was like a lake at the start of the session, and by the end some head high waves rolling in.
Was amazed how quick the swell came in.
The regular three of us were out, I chrashed into a poley (his fault! 
nah not really, lol) and Mini came down as well.
A nice arvo on the water, keen for the next sesh; forecast doesnt look good though.
Ah sounds like it's all happening for you guys back home... meanwhile here in chilly old Melbourne it's miserable and waveless. Can't wait to get back to where the action is.
Hey SurfBoy, latest GFS indicates some wind this Friday/Saturday, so you might not have to wait too long.
The system might be quite similar to the last ECL, except minus 10 kts or so.
We had a good May/June last year, heaps of waves n wind.
Will morph every update of 6 hours and will keep us "frothers" on that edge. LOL.
Latest GFS indicates NE winds now for this weekend.
Surely the last ones for this season.
Go figure.
Forecast looks good with 15-20kn forecast to pick up during the day. Much the same for saturday as well.
I think today might not happen, but hopeful for tomorrow arvo.
No surf to speak of, almost flat at 1ft.

GFS say's heap of wind, ie 15 +
BOM marine says no way Saturday 5 kts max, but Ok for Sunday 10/15 kts. BOM marine has been on the ball these past 2 weeks.
Canadian met says 10 kts NE both days. A month ago, these guys were killing it with the forecast.

Seriously No not good at all.
Very shallow with heaps of weed for body dragging.
Then there is the launch area which is super gusty with wind shadows from trees.
If you try a drift launch the weed gets all around your lines.
If your keen and know someone with a boat, get them to chase you around as support.

no wind for me in like three weeks.

Kited almost every day for over a week now. Had about five weeks off before that thru injuries. Feeling good and sore now... sleeping better too
Got out for the first time in almost 3 months
How sad.
But so good to get back out there.

Yeah, I've been looking at the sunny coast forecasts for the past few weeks. Looks like there has been plenty of wind up there.
Going to Townsville on monday for a couple of weeks with work.
Current forecast is for nothing but green arrows, one bag allowed on the plan.
Pffft, I'll be taking two kites a board and my work gear!!! 
any1 heading out this morning/today southerly is blowin hard now, checked bom from bellambi to ulladulla pretty consistent
Raining cats and dogs on Northern beaches. Gusts of 40+. Hoping to get a session from 2 onwards when the worst of the rain should be past us. Deewhy should be kite able... 
I'm interstate but I guess it hasnt hit yet, cause where I would kite in that direction is glassy two footers.

will start thinking of upgrading the 9m for good winter sessions.
would have been good to try out the 11m C4, but will see through the week if its below 30kn :)
