I don't think I would be spending $140 to attend a conference where the organisers can't even spell the name of one of the featured speakers correctly.

17-year-old Aubrynn Grundy contracted COVID-19 a few weeks after her second dose of Pfizer, went into cardiac arrest, was hospitalized, given a cocktail of drugs, went into multi-organ failure, and tragically passed away

.Aubrynn Grundy lived in Livonia, Michigan. She was a perfectly healthy 17-year-old, and her story is sad and tragic, leaving her mother, Shanna Carroll, and stepfather, Adam Carroll, with many unanswered questions.

How did a perfectly healthy 17-year-old, who was recently double vaccinated for COVID-19, go into cardiac arrest three times, require life support and ventilation, develop multi-organ failure, and ultimately pass away?In January 2022,

Aubrynn received exciting news from the Odd Fellows Organization of Michigan that she would be one of only a few students chosen from her school to go on a youth pilgrimage trip to Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, and Pennsylvania that summer

.Before leaving for the trip, Aubrynn was required to get two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. She received her first Pfizer dose on June 7, 2022, and her second Pfizer dose on June 28,

Aubrynn went into cardiac She was suspected of suffering from myocarditis, her fingers, hands, toes, feet, legs, and arms began to turn black, gangrene was setting in, her organs were failing, and she would have required multiple amputations.

From the family, "But, after feeling sick in Canada, she had tested positive for Covid. In New York, Aubrynn was so weak and sick that my sister, Shanna, packed up the car with the family and drove the twelve hour round trip to get her.

Once home, she only got worse and her breathing was so low that they rushed her into the ER. While waiting, her breathing became faint and she collapsed on the floor. Her heart stopped for the first time.

She was put into a medically induced coma and onto a ventilator to help her breathe.

She was airlifted to Detroit Childrens Hospital where her dad, my sister and my sisters fiance would meet her. When they arrived, they were told that her heart had stopped again and that chest compressions and CPR were needed to bring her back.

Her blood pressure was so low, and her lungs so damaged, she couldn't get any oxygen to her blood."

Predatory conferences are becoming increasingly common and sophisticated in their advertising. I remember some shysters out of Turkey were running hundreds concurrently, all with the same template. Misspelled words in the advertising are often a give away.

I just realised it wasn't the event organisers that have made that spelling mistake but a different organisation, the 'ADF' that made a news item about it on their website.

ausdoctorsfederation.org.au/about-us/

The organisation that's running the event is called AMPS. Here's the link of the event from them with correct spelling of the Professor.

You are very sadly in monumental denial.

Denial very likely brought on by the emotional stress you've previously encountered by the implications of the information.

You have chosen the temporary - ignorance is bliss..

I see that "Childrens Health Defence - Australian Chapter" are a Supporting Organisation for this "conference".

"Then, they linked to a January Children's Health Defence article that claimed 329 deaths following the COVID-19 shot had been reported to VAERS, a federal vaccine safety surveillance system that has been misused by anti-vaccine activists. "Every Friday, the true American hero Robert F Kennedy Jr. pulls the data from the VAERS report. Here is the latest up until 1/22," the commenter wrote. Another user replied that the comment had been reported for dishonesty, but it was still up 10 months later."

"Then, Kennedy hawked his book. If just 300 attendees pre-ordered it on Amazon that night, he told the crowd, it would land on the bestseller list and they could "stick it to Amazon and Jeff Bezos". All profits, he said, would go to his charity, Children's Health Defence. While many non-profits and businesses have struggled during the pandemic, Kennedy's anti-vaccine group has thrived. An investigation by The Associated Press finds that Children's Health Defence has raked in funding and followers as Kennedy used his star power as a member of one of America's most famous families to open doors, raise money and lend his group credibility. Filings with charity regulators show revenue more than doubled in 2020, to $US6.8 million ($9.55 million)."

The Sydney Morning Herald has turned into a pile of dogshiit. I used to like it back in the 90s when it was printed as a broadsheet but it's been downhill since the 2000s when the internet started gaining traction and they weren't so biased.

There are way better news sources.

Here's a peer reviewed article that refers to the Children's Health Defence.

"On January 5, 2021, Major League Baseball (MLB) legend and Hall of Famer, Hank Aaron, publicly received his first dose of the Moderna vaccine series at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Two weeks later, he passed away at the age of 86 years due to natural causes. Following his death, a prominent antivaccine activist and founder of a known antivaccine group posted information on the popular microblogging site Twitter, which claimed an unfounded link between Aaron's death and the COVID-19 vaccine [1]

"From $13,000 in annual revenue in 2014, World Mercury Project brought in $470,000 in revenue in 2015, when Kennedy joined the organization. Its revenues increased to $1.1 million in 2018. With the group becoming a major disinformation hub during the COVID-19 pandemic, its revenue reached $6.8 million in 2020, $15 million in 2021, counting among its new donors LimeWire's founder Mark Gorton,[7][51] and $23.5 million in 2022.[31]

The charitable foundations of several major investment firms funneled anonymized donations to Children's Health Defense: Fidelity Charitable provided $1 million to Children's Health Defense and some of its state chapters in 2021-2022; The Vanguard Group's foundation gave $1.5 million to the national group and its California chapter between 2020 and 2022; Morgan Stanley's fund $680,000 provided to the national group and its New York chapter in 2020 and 2021. In addition, the National Christian Foundation gave a total of $630,000 to the group in 2020 and 2021. Smaller anonymized donations received during the COVID-19 pandemic included Fairfield County's Community Foundation ($200,000) and the Chicago Community Trust ($100,000).[52]

The organization receives a portion of the sales of Ty Bollinger's anti-vaccination video series, which it promotes.[53] Despite its messaging impeding the government's efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, Children's Health Defense received $145,400 in federally backed small business loans through the Paycheck Protection Program from JPMorgan Chase in 2020.[24][54][55] The 2021 tax return for Children's Health Defense indicates that Kennedy was paid above $500,000 for his services as chairman and chief counsel for the organization.[56]

Children's Health Defense initiated a number of court cases, with little success. Requests for contributions to its litigation funds are a major component of its fundraising activities.[48]

Given the impact they had during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, ethicist Arthur Caplan commented that funding Children's Health Defense and similar groups might have grave consequence in future epidemics.[31]"

Not disagreeing with what you are saying about quackpottery remery.

But - quite ironically, if 18 days before he'd died this Hank Aaron had a positive Covid test, instead of a Covid vaccine, he'd be in the offical statistics as died with from with from (now interchangable terms when you want them to be) Covid.

And you say that is a correct statistic, but the other isn't.

I say they are both equally quack-pot

Except that there's a well understood progression of disease with Sars cov 2 infection.

So it's much easier to ascertain the causative impact of infection.

Where as this guy was just a vaccinated person who died of natural causes.

In that case, I'd feel it important to point out "Turkyie" and "Misspelt".

Also, if that is the criteria everything is determined by, then perhaps somebody should also correct "give away" in that context to either "giveaway" or "give-away".

Without these basic corrections I find the entire argument baselezz.

Good point D3. Good point.

The idea that anyone who died soon after a covid vaccine went on the 'suspicious vaccine death' register does seem a bit nonsensical.

But I did also think that back in 2020 and 2021 including anyone who died within 30 days of a positive Covid test from an otherwise non-traumatic cause on the 'died with covid list', and then basing your entire political response to the virus on having a smaller list than your neighbouring state premier had in the morning media promo, was also a bit nonsensical.

But - if you are correct and back in late 2020 / early 2021 nobody knew the long term effects of the vaccines, but there was a well understood progression of disease, then putting anyone and everyone on the 'died with covid list' when it would have been simple to isolate those who died directly as a result of covid, makes the quackpottery seem slightly skewed towards that side and not straight down the middle as I had previously suspected.

Yes, your argument is persuasive. Whilst the offical 'died with covid' lists have about as much relevance and sanity as the 'might have died from a vaccine' lists, one of them would be much easier to compile.
