Why would remery mention no Covid in his post as though the vaccines would somehow reduce the incidence of Covid?
And D3 thinks naturopaths are a scam. They're about as good as dietitians. And if you think eating well is worthless, there's no helping you.

How is a dietician (evidence and science based approach to diet for health) comparable to a practicioner who pretends to heal by a belief in a special vital energy or force guiding bodily processes internally?

And if you read my comment above, I clearly point out that eating a proper diet and having a lifestyle that supports it is clearly beneficial, this is based on scientific evidence.

I just reckon the whole "organic food is magical" is a bogus money making scam.

I stand with D3 on this one.

It is the way in which the people who sell those alternative medicines promise complete salvation to vulnerable people and say that 'alternative' medicine is the only way.

But you gotta be careful not to dismiss something just because it is promoted by a scammer.

If I drink a herbal brew of willow bark is the naturally occuring salicylic acid any less worthy than if I take a pill of the exact same substance that is branded as asprin ?

Neither is gonna cure cancer but both will have the same affect on my headache.

And then again, I could have probably avoided my headache by drinking more water. If a naturopath tells me this is it worth less than a pharmacist telling me the take an asprin ?

Indeed.
The benefit of aspirin over willow bark is that you can be confident in the contents and dose of the pill.

Many herbal remedies and supplements don't actually contain what they claim, either they don't list what they actually have in them or they have wildly different concentrations.

There are always exceptions.

Very few obese 95 year olds i see.

I bet there will likely be even less covid booster 95 year olds soon too.

No need to implore. I'm already taking up the TGA recommendations. No covid, no side effects. Windsurfing or motorcycling almost every day. How about you, still crying?

I am a little disappointed that you said this. You KNOW that the Covid boosters cause harm, and here you are effectively saying that I should take one ro many, thus injurying myself.

In other words, you are wishing me harm. With all your talk about not calling people CT nutters, you now wish death on me.

Sad. So sad.

I have asked you numerous times if you have taken all the recommended C19 jabs but you choose to not answer at least fully.

If you are going to talk the talk then surely you must walk the walk - no?

I did put a smiley face at the end for a very obvious reason.

So no, i wish harm on no one including the ones like yourself who push the jabs.

No, I don't think you have. But for the record, I got 4, and I evaluated the need for a 5th and decided against it. Everyone should do the same and evaluate the need for that time. By the time I got my 4th, the severity of Covid was falling.

Maybe that's the difference with hearing/reading/seeing something and then thinking about it?

I still get a tetanus shot when I have an injury that creates a risk, even though I generally don't know when the last time I would have had one previously.

Look at this, how unfair, telling people that they must take vaccines. I guess justice won in the end:

I think the problem is one of image.
If you have a skinny guy approach you at the beach and he starts ranting about covid and conspiracies...

And then a fat guy who talks normally and seems to be happy...

Which one are you wanting to emulate?

I challenge you to read through this or any of Amanda's work, and maintain your stance that naturopaths are just a bunch pseudo medicine pill pushing grifters.

Dept of health actually recommends 12 monthly booster for those under 65
www.health.gov.au/our-work/covid-19-vaccines/getting-your-vaccination/booster-doses

So I might get mine when I get my annual flu shot.
Such simple things to prevent me spending weeks in bed with fevers, hallucinating and struggling to get oxygen into my body.

I know from your memes that you're very concerned about people getting enough oxygen

I'll try read it this weekend.

But I'll make a prediction, that the stuff she recommends that actually works for people in objectively measured ways ( Not just subjective "I feel better") and doesn't rely on some magic vitality force?
Those recommendation are probably ones I would also get from my GP, because they are backed up by actual science and not magic or belief or faith.

Pretty much any pseudo -medicine practice that actually heals or improves health is also a component of conventional medicine.

Indeed, although not the point I was making. Except it kinda is the point I was making.

When you say "The benefit of aspirin over willow bark is that you can be confident in the contents and dose of the pill.",

I agree, if you are comparing a dose of asprin purchased from a registered pharmacy against a tub of herbal remedy purchased from the Saturday market in Nimbin.

But asprin versus willow bark isn't the like-for-like comparison.

My point was, just because the unregistered herbal seller is promoting stupid crap made from willow bark, it doesn't make synthetically produced salicylic acid ("asprin" being one brand name for this) any more effective or better for you than naturally occuring salicylic acid (in, for example willow bark) by default.

It makes the testing and control of the end product different, but not necessarily the source of the chemical.

I am not suggesting munching on a chunk of willow bark is the same as taking a measured prescription of asprin. All I was saying was that that just because charlatans sell herbal remedies and snake oil, it does not mean naturally occuring drugs are all nonsense and only synthteically manufactured drugs will cure your illnessses.

And the same is for many things.
Just because charlatans promote energy healing and coffee enemas for curing cancer, does not mean that promoting eating more veggies is purely alternative medicine.
