Well, at least it's not nothing.
Weight management is challenging for most individuals, let alone a population.

It's amazing how hard it can be to supply a family with a diet keeps them healthy and meets their needs.

It's definitely a complex problem in our society that I'd love that we could fix

yesterday at woollies
i bought a small unripe pawpaw for $12
a quarter of a watermelon for $9

there were shelves of cookies $5 for 24
bags of Easter eggs 40% off, something like $3

we sit around, rabble and gaffaw about woollies price gouging, and do nothing about it

the only food low income people can afford is poison non food

Rubbish. We've bred chickens into amazing protein creation machines that go along with cheap tinned and frozen vegies, pasta and rice to make it very easy to prepare nutritious food for a family. Varying the herbs and spices that go in the recipes keeps the combinations of the basics fresh.
As for the kilos, it took me about 3 or 4 years of having a few sweet biscuits with my afternoon cup of tea to put on about 6kg, and about 6 months to drop back to 74kg (BMI ~ 24) by stopping that and having a vitaweat with a big dab of crunchy peanut butter instead.

I was pointing out that PC's claims that if you don't eat organic then you deserve to get sick is crazy and victim blaming.

I dropped 40kgs by backing off booze and pizza intake, then eating more chicken and frozen veggies for lunch.
Bulk pack of chicken breast and frozen mixed veggies is remarkably efficient work lunches

What do they suggest are possible causes for increase and how does it compare with the increase over the past 3 decades?

"Strokes in young adults are reported as being uncommon, comprising 10%-15% of all stroke patients. However, compared with stroke in older adults, stroke in the young has a disproportionately large economic impact by leaving victims disabled before their most productive years. Recent publications report an increased incidence of stroke in young adults. This is important given the fact that younger stroke patients have a clearly increased risk of death compared with the general population. The prevalence of standard modifiable vascular risk factors in young stroke patients is different from that in older patients. Modifiable risk factors for stroke, such as dyslipidemia, smoking, and hypertension, are highly prevalent in the young stroke population, with no significant difference in geographic, climatic, nutritional, lifestyle, or genetic diversity. The list of potential stroke etiologies among young adults is extensive. Strokes of undetermined and of other determined etiology are the most common types among young patients according to TOAST (Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment) criteria. Prevention is the primary treatment strategy aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality related to stroke. Therefore, primary prevention is very important with regard to stroke in young adults, and aggressive treatment of risk factors for stroke, such as hypertension, smoking, and dyslipidemia, is essential. The best form of secondary stroke prevention is directed toward stroke etiology as well as treatment of additional risk factors. However, there is a lack of specific recommendations and guidelines for stroke management in young adults. In conclusion, strokes in young adults are a major public health problem and further research, with standardized methodology, is needed in order to give us more precise epidemiologic data. Given the increasing incidence of stroke in the young, there is an objective need for more research in order to reduce this burden."

Except that there's no evidence that is happening at rates not previously seen.

Yes, some cancers progress very rapidly, but these types are already known about.

What we're not seeing is a sudden rise in those types of cancers out of proportion to other cancers.
Also not seeing other cancers progressing at unprecedented rates that could be called turbo cancer.

Hey, that's a bit ghoulish, even for you PC.

But if what you're suggesting is that a COVID vaccination will cause cancer, why aren't we seeing billions more cases of cancer?

Approximately 70% of the worlds population has received at least one dose. If what you're suggesting is true, we should be able to see a clear rise in specific types of cancer.

And I do mean clear, easily identifiable, not just data noise , signal showing that COVID vaccination can cause cancer.

"A grieving mother and her lawyer have been targeted by an extreme campaign of abuse after suing a conspiracy theory newspaper which falsely claimed her son died from a Covid vaccine.

The Irish Light repeatedly abused Edel Campbell online and its supporters have threatened her lawyer with "execution".

Conspiracy theorists worldwide have used dozens of tragic deaths to spread vaccine misinformation.

This case is thought to be the first where a relative has sued.

The Irish Light included Ms Campbell's son, Diego Gilsenan, and 41 others in an article last year which suggested the "untested and dangerous" Covid vaccine was to blame for the deaths. In fact, the BBC has been told Diego had taken his own life in August 2021, aged 18, and had not been vaccinated."

Haven't really read much of her stuff.
I'll try get a proper review for you, but here's a brief snippet just to keep you happy (because that's important to me) so feel to keep waiting.

Her descriptions of how the immune system works seems legit (I'm not really the person to debunk that if it needs it) and she seems very confident on how it works when she's talking about the stuff I can find in my biology textbook.

Where she starts losing credibility and when she loses that confidence is as she departs from evidence based science and leans heavily on things like:
- "may have benefits"
-"can improve"
-"can enhance"

(Like when she talks about Detox and how the gut impact on immune function)

I wonder if she would accept clients who "may pay"?

And as I predicted, she seems to focus on very subjective symptoms such as brain fog or low energy for the Detox recommendations. And somehow Colds and Flus "may be" a symptom of "toxic burden"? (Isn't toxic burden just a funny way to say poisoned?)

Like I said, I haven't read much yet, I have other priorities.

But I do like some classic pseudoscience recommendations.
- apparently it's a good thing to alkalize your blood?
- apparently consuming both an Acid and a Alkaline substance will allow you to benefit from both (instead of neutralizing)
- detox your blood by eating something
- taking a known thing and running away with it to create something that almost sounds right but doesn't have the evidence to back it up. Like "leaky gut".

Then there's recipe recommendations.

Why don't you chill out and have a $10 smoothie while you wait for me to find the time to read through more of her stuff.
