@UisceBeatha

I have both the SF680/S185 and DW750/S178 - 78 kg - North Vert 4'5 - 30L - used for winging only so far and with an anchorman.
I just got, today, the S142, so I'll be able to report back on it in a few days.
Tried the S192, but way too big, slow, unresponsive for my weight and style of riding.

As amazing as the SF680 is for its surface area, the pump, glide, efficiency, drag less feeling of the DW750 is next level.
Very low stall speed. Lower than the SF.
Turns very well and feels quite loose for its given span, but obviously not as nimble and playful as the SF680.
I was riding nearly exclusively the MA850v2 and once I got the SF680, I thought that it would become my one foil quiver.
However, when I tried the DW750, I fell in love with it. The glide is just NUUUUUTS.
I have a DW690 and S122 on order already.

Pretty much sums my my thoughts and experiences with these foils. Only thing that is going to keep me on the SF680 for most of my winging is not being able to jump with the DW750 (not recommended by North).

I was able to get out with the C700 fuselage and that fixed a lot of the instability I was feeling with the C600.

@Tangur Which mast are you using with these foils?

Would s185 work with SF1230 for an intermediary. I know riders guide say it's too small but nevertheless

You can mix and match whatever you want.Riders guide is a "guide", a starting point. You could chop the S215 on the dotted lines to make it looser and I suspect that the S185 with the SF1230 would result in just that.

HM80 and 85 depending on whether or not the gf rides with me and steals the HM85.
C600 only - never rode a 650 or 700

600 is horrible IMO, very unstable. I think for lightweight people its good.for me it just felt unstable, especially when you want to go fast. Still waiting for the 650, but with north, seems like nothing is on stock.

Since you can apparently already order it, would you mind sharing the specs and expected release date?

I unfortunately don't have the specs and don't have an ETA. Late spring I imagine if I extrapolate from previous seasons.I just wanted something faster and looser and it was the smallest offering along with the SF530 (ETA March for SF).

What's your weight?Gear is very subjective, I might like something and my friend might hate it and vice versa.I've ridden setups that people were saying were loose, nimble, turning on a dime and I found them slow, unresponsive, riding on tracks, extremely stable. And I've made friends ride a setup that I loved and they went "meh".

Chopped 185 works great w almost any of those front wings. It's become my Go-Too

Anyone riding the new '25 Seek board here? I'm going to replace my older Seek 78L for a new one. The new one looks a bit longer and narrower.

I'd consider waiting for the ML series to come out this spring.

I'm not a fan of ML boards, i like to do freestyle and those boards are too long and thin.
5'1 for 78L, i find that long already. We have plenty of wind here, and i won't go out in less then 12 knots.

Curious now also. It seems to be pretty quiet by North. That C650 fuse, should have been released last year already. Its still not on the website and local shop has no idea. Also, can we expect new foils ? Ma v3 ???

because of this i switched to smaller brand that will just keep up with the market, I am sorry but offering high aspect series thats so outdated in 2025 is just rubbish. Taking years to bring medium fuselage ? The quality is amazing but they are always 2 steps behind the others

I agree, but i switched to another (not to name) brand and it was a bad experience. I sold the board and foil quickly and never looked back. They might be slow, but what they release just works, and has been tested very well.

I have dw1400 and i love it in very light wind. My daily driver is sf930. I recently switch stabilisator from 215 to 208. Start is a bit slower, upwind a bit more nervous, but i like it down the wave. As much as i love 930 i wish for a foil with more glide. Originaly i tought to go for dw900 but reading this topic im considering dw750. I can start 930 in around 10 knots. In what wind can you foil with dw750? Im 70kg using 100l downwind board. The swell we get is wind based from 0.5m up to 2m.

If you can get the SF930 started in 10 knts with a 100 L DW board, you shouldn't have any issues with starting the DW750. Stall speed is super low.
I'd pair it with a S142 for even better glide, lower drag than your 208.
At 70 kg, you could easily replace your DW1400 with a 1100 to have better turning.
I don't think that you'll lose anything in low end, pump and glide at your weight.
I can easily dockstart the DW1100, stall speed is super duper low.

Thank you. I dont want to replace 1400 since i foil in very marginal wind in summer. I imagine i could start with 1100 but it would take much more efford. Honestly turnability is not that bad for such a large foil. I was thinking the same that i could start 750 in similar wind than 930 or perhaps 1-2 knot more. Im warming towards 750 i just have to accept in my head that such a small surface is not problematic. I had to do the same with 930 compared to ma1350v1

Isn't there a DW830 coming later in year (could even be March), might give ya a little extra security.

I spoke with distributor and he doesn't know anything about DW830 but he said that SF830 will be coming out. I make arrangement for a test so i will get a chance to try couple of front wings

They told me they are releasing parawing soon

I've been using the SF830 for months now, it's my favorite wing in the surf. I use a chopped at the North recommended dotted lines 185 stab. If you're familiar w the SF930 it's slightly faster, comes up almost as easy and def loosens up my carving. I've kept the 930 because if the waves are small or wind is super light, it's a sesh saver.

More fancy bits on the way incl:
DW690, DW820
S122, S145, S158 (v2)

All the latest stabs look in concept like the s142 and s192

Sorry, meant DW820

North DW900 w S142 is feeling amazing!! I'm using it quite a lot winging (w ApplesliceV3 60l) as well as for DW runs with the Foil Drive Gen2.
Initially I had that instability some have mentioned, but then found shifting mast bit further forward in track helped a bit, but especially finding an optimum narrow stance foot placement with 60-70% weight on front foot. If any more than 40% on back foot it's too much force on the S142 relative to the front wing so it wants to turn whilst the front wing wants to glide. Best to build speed and let it glide then with right foot placement/pressure can still get some surprisingly agile turns.

HA1150 or DW1100? I'm after a larger LW wing for inland lake winging and occasional pumping with a foil assist. 75kg beginner/intermediate. I just got a HA1050 (was a great deal), but I doubt it will do the job in very light wind, based on my experience with Cabrinha H1000 and few other HA wings in this size. I also have MA1050 and SF1080, but they both lack the glide in the lulls. Thanks
