Feeling pumped and shagged.
Spent most of time - get onto plane - bear off gybe - crash - repeat!!!! Made it around 2 gybes - very early days
Had a blast at the end as a little treat- downwinder into the beach 24knts
That's 6 days sailing in last 7 days.

lifes great
cheers jeff
Today was cream!!!
Good idea JV Johnny came up with for tomorrow. Start from Bongaree, sail over to Sandstone, follow the water back out over to Bongaree for the Low tide.
Thought I try a little magic and go for a drive....
At sandstone - drizzly rain
We have light onshore winds
No whitecaps
Deciding on lightwind practice or jpslw with 9.5 sail
Or...... stay warm in car
.......
Pretty dire here. Going to Gloria jeans for coffee and cake
Lovely morning with paddles and parso
Lightwind jpslw 9.5 Ezzy
Some nice planing runs before wind died
Then lightwind tacks gybes and falls - working on my skill set
Paddles on early plane with his big fin
parso working on beach starts - doing well
life is great
cheers Jeff
Jeff
Sounds great.
No good for us weekend warriors - forecast is looking crappy again.![]()
Mal
Yes Mal bit desperate
im off to RQ team windsurf Saturday - more lightwind practice
ok with no wind on Sunday - Mother's Day. We don't want anybody conflicted over the choices that need to be made ;-)
cheers Jeff
Bloody lovely at Sandstone today. The wind started out probably just under 15 and then slowly dropped from there. The risk I took by shelling out bucks for the biggest powerbox slalom fin I could buy has paid off, I reckon I could still plane in 12 with this fin and the 8.5m sail, haven't tried it with the 10m yet. Pleasant company with Parso spending all morning practicing beach starts and Jeff on his SLW doing all his drills in the nice light conditions. Topped it off with a burger at the Beachmere RSL and now a triple shot espresso on the deck at home so I'm not tempted to have an afternoon nap ![]()
Yeah, it didn't quite happen today. Mark showed up same time as me and we looked over to Sandstone at you guy's and we weren't exited. Picked up a little, (for a little) and Mark decided on the 6.2 instead of his 7m. Didn't matter anyway because it just kept dropping more and more. Waricle Pete came along and we rigged our biggest and waited all the way till the change of tide, suited up and went with positive thought's. One long run out and back. Nearly there, but no!!
Was still not a bad way to finish a day at the beach. Come on wind!!!
We would have been just slogging back in to the cars by the time you guys got to South Esplanade Darren. I was cruising around nicely for the first hour and then it just got too light and I slogged back and forth to the passage a couple of times and gave up. Jeff hung in there a bit longer practicing his tacks and gybes. Worse places to be though, like at work with Adam ![]()
Had to work all day today so I missed out. Now I know how Tony and Brad feel. Everybodys out sailing on a school day
Hope to see you all of you when the wind blows next![]()
cheers Jeff
I've just jumped onto the 'Breezer's thread to suggest the same Dag, so I'm in. I reckon a log ride from Sandstone down past Godwin Beach and towards Beachmere would be pretty cool. BOM model is showing 5-10 SE late morning once the wind turns so should be lovely. What time you thinking?
In case we want to spend a bit more time on the water, would be better to leave from Bongaree.
Thinking around lunch.
Ronery! So ronery.
Little bit in the gusts in front of the squalls, not much though. How was Bongaree Dags?
So very ronery,
Poor rittle meeeeeeeeeeee!
Actually had a good day. No One Design. Rigged the 8.5 and away. Then cruised around blissfully till the wind kicked in again at the end.
Lost on the roundabout Thursday and picked up on the merry-go-round today.

Lost on round about????
Max and I had an intense 3 hours this morning at Rq. team windsurf
Practicing race starts pumping stopping and falling in. Bloody freezing
Realy enjoyable time
max really stoked - long upwind planing run in the beating straps - think he is hooked :-)
cheers Jeff
Well after a weekend to forget for this fair weather sailor, today was lovely. 5-10 offshore Beachmere on the windSup. Clean, green water, sandy bottom and blue skies for a lunch break.

Hi there Sandstone Crew. Anyone sailing tomorrow? Any good for learners? Tides wind etc? Where is best launch site? Andrew.
Hi there Andrew,
Waiting on confirmation, but maybe giving a lesson at Sandstone point.
High tide is at 1:30pm. Can usually get a couple of hours, sometimes three either side.
I'm not sure if or what time yet.
Cheers,
Darren.
Hoping for the same tomorrow, and slightly more after lunch maybe.
Oh and sorry Andrew, Oxley Pd is the spot.
Ok thanks Darren. Might get there mid morning. Very light wind at Golden Bch today. Tactical battle against the tide.![]()
Looks like it's not on tomorrow.
We're waiting on a wetsuit.
Sorry Andrew. Just wondering, are you an experienced sailor? Or were you planning to bring a learner?
