And I've heard that, win, lose or draw, Columbia have offered to buy Uruguay dinner after the game, just so that none of their players will need to eat during the game.

Haha. I am still laughing about Mr Suarez saying he lost balance and the victims shoulder fell into his mouth

Still in a game I played,I was squiriled gripped and had my hand trodden on,I got up.to play the ball and my balance was off. My head then made accidental contact to the markers then broken nose four weeks and missing the finals was unfair

And he got a heros welcome when he returned home. Wow.

Interesting watching another dull game unfold. In the group stages we saw the most goals scored at any group stage yet under the 32 team format but it seems that when we now go to the knockout stages the mind set has completely changed with no one really wanting to be responsible for conceding a goal that costs your team a place in the next round. Its almost like they want to play for penalties in this game. A shame.

Jeepers Greece have equalised in the 90th minute - CR look spent with 10 men - extra time should see Greece win you would think.

Hiw can I watch the football with the Tennis on

Nick Kyrgios has just beaten Rafa - who would have believed it - he was only paying something like $7.50 in a 2 horse race !!!!

93% of first serves in that last set. Thats unreal. Hopefully that hoax Tomic can drop off the radar now

Football update - still nil-nil

Messi has looked spent the last 15 mins or so but just put a lovely ball through for Di Maria to slot home a lovely finish. The Swiss got a bit cocky and lost the ball. Should have kept it simple. Well - its easy for me to say with 5 mins to go till penalties - not now it would seem.

Jeepers - Swiss almost levelled off a corner - hit the upright but the rebound just went wide - so bloody close - they had the goalie up for it.

Its a funny old game football - no one wants to make mistake so its all very conservative in extra time heading for penalties - almost boring really - then a goal is scored and all of a sudden its GAME ON and being played at 200% - exciting stuff.

Argies are through.

Nice work USA - you have played well but the class of the Belgians has come through at the death. Tim Howard has had an outstanding game in goal.

The Dutch have had all the possession so afar but seem to lack the creativity to break down CRs defence - which seems to be holding strong at this stage. Robben is getting booed at long last.
