Finally it arrives - 1 more sleep to go. Games are on at a reasonable time to watch - will definitely not be drinking as much this World Cup as previous ones when evening games have been the standard 
Cheeky Mac - thats cool though as the NZ trophy cabinet is pretty full these days and we just beat West Indies in the first test over night.
Maybe the better question is - will Aust score a goal this time round?
NZ scored goals at the world cup many years before Australia ever did - in fact 24 years before hand !!!!!

Soccer truly is the world game. But I can never understand why they roll around on the ground and hold their legs as if broken.
then suddenly they are up and off as if nothing happened.
That has got me beat.
and why do they jump on each other's backs and hug and kiss so much? Are they all gay, couldn't be that many gay guys playing the same game.
Maybe be that is why it is so popular, with so many people coming out of the closet, this game is their game and they can openly display their male to male affection in front of a crowd without being shamed. 
I wonder.

I agree,I think as a nation we should embrace this national team,because just getting to the world cup is an outstanding achievment.
