Howling westerly here today but a nice consistent perky north east swell waist to shoulder high. Got a bank pretty much to myself and got plenty. Bit tricky on the barge with the wind and constant paddling but all good

Barge day here today. Light offshores and teensy weensy ripples. A stand there and daydream kind of day.

I went out this morning. Tide was all wrong (too low) ****ty weak close outs but it did improve a little . Stayed out for a bit over an hour. Looks like the crowds have already arrived flapping around dropping in on each other . Crappy weather coming for the next few days so I'll probably go again on Monday if the wind is right .

Nowhere... messy on the beaches, crowded and microscopic at the points. (Although there may already something brewing round the corner, or the one after that).
Maybe this is why E.T. went home.

Got out yesterday and this morning. Yesterday bumpy low tide afternoon but a few to be had. Today high tide a bit slow but got better with the tide dropping. Nothing to write home about but enough to put up on here

Few fun surfs lately but nothing to write home about. We headed west a couple weeks back and scored though. Not as big as I expected but super fun non the less.

It was definitely the pick. Fast and hollow but ending on almost dry reef

Just back from getting a few amongst the holiday hoards. Plenty of flapping tourists but a few OK waves among them. Wishing you all a happy new year and stay safe and well.

Looks sick, farkall people out too by the looks. Reminds me of Derrs in WA but there would of been about 50 people out on a day like this...in 1995...now probabaly 150

I'm currently in Esperence, been a bit windy since its WA after all. But had heaps of fun uncrowded waves between here & Albany. Doesn't seem to matter what the conditions are the ocean always looks epic even when the waves aren't

Little bit of onshore slop, with a just little power today. Still fun.

Weather forecast for golf???

I've been Skid Lidding today at 13th, 1st Carpark, pretty solid waves actually. 1st carpark picks up the most swell on this part of the coast.

Mac, the surfing juices are flowing freely again!
I made a pact with myself, just paddle out, no matter what the conditions are. You'll get waves...
Simondo is back baby! ... (Wait, I never really left, kind of left Seabreeze for a bit, but never left surfing!)

Also (in my experience anyway), surfing always loves you back. Golf sometimes bites ya on the bum.

mush burgers in warm water ..1/10... 1st paddle for the year , banks here are pretty stuffed , large sand deposits on outer bank that are too deep to break properly .

Couple of decent waves yesterday and today first surf in six weeks and managed to jag a couple of ok waves, looking good for the coming week with a good swell arriving Tuesday with luck. Avagoodone

Love that pact.

No matter what, just paddle out. Got me a couple of ripper solo sessions with that approach.

When everyone else can't be stuffed because it's too small or too messy, patience and persistence paid off.
