50's had most motor companies having different chassis designations for overseas models - Brits were doing the same thing mate

I reckon those ones in the US didn't end up selling and they got sold there

The lower one would make a brilliant rat.

What would one of those go for in the states these days?

Looks like it's spent some time out in the desert.

It's a 1957 Packard Clipper station wagon Obs,not sure what kind of money they fetch but would make a cool surfwagon

Edit:just checked out prices,A real sh1tter would be around 3 grand.A pristine restored one would be around 60 grand

They're really on to them over there, just for sh!ts and giggles a few months ago I did a search for some old favs like rancheros and econolines, plus a few others, going back to the 50s and 60s, depending on the condition of the good restored ones, prices were $15K and up in USd.

that's okay, some looked like they had a lot of work in them, but what really surprised me was the prices they wanted fore the out and out pieces of crap they had in the wreaking yards. These yards weren't in the big cities, they were out in Hicksville and the cars were completely beyond redemption, and they were still asking 2 or 3k for them.

just 15 years ago, they would have been lucky to get 5 bucks as scrap metal for them.

I know it's amazing what some people want for absolute crap.I search around all the time for cars I just like doing itand can't believe they think they can get that kind of money,it's happening a lot here to I've seen some cars advertised for sale for 2 to 3 years. Especially prices of old Holdens,Falcons and Valiants

Prices of parts are heading skywards to,I done a regulator on the old wagon the other day.Checked out ebay because you can't buy some of these parts at shops anymore, they wanted $350 for oneso I found a Bosch later model one for $30,unreal it is
