I've ordered direct off the website and received gear within a week more than once. Great customer service too
Don't suppose you get any discounts online.

No. And I don't want a discount. The "try before you buy" and "what's your best price" attitude in this industry has done nothing good for anyone
I've been using the 190 with 83cm mast for DW. I really like it, super efficient. The longer mast makes it a little harder to get going but once you are flying it feels really nice, you can attack the bumps in front of you, you go faster on big steep bumps without breaching.

Not a single look at the actual foil though. We'll cover image I'll give you. But dimensions? ??
All I know is available in 4 sizes, pre-order June 1.
Adam has to be the most talented prone foiler on earth right now...
Kai Lenny couldn't do this.

Steady on. That's exactly how we buy a lot of things including say cars, bikes, clothes etc etc etc for instance. And asking for your best price is just pure market economics. Although personally I like to shop at the same place and develop a relationship / loyalty which normally provides some discount. Not always but normally. Bloody hard getting any discount with the lack of supply and high demand with foiling gear though at the moment lol. Again that's just economics.

"That's just economics" is why so many surf businesses fail
Discounting devalues products perceived value. It is bad for Australian business especially small business. You can't expect high Australian wages, and manufacturing in Australia, and cheap products at the same time.
Which foil is made in Australia? Happy to support them.

If they fail then market economics has done its job. Can't compete then don't be in business.
Which socialist utopia does your head live in ? Or am I not understanding what you are actually saying ?

Nah just designed. Made overseas
Yeh I thought it would be hard to match overseas labour costs, but if they weren't making big enough volumes sometimes production is kept local.
Looks like the Vyper will be available for order soon.

Now the big question will be : 150 or 170 ?????????
The Vyper's (only the wing I'm guessing) are apparently made in Australia according to Unifoil on Insta.
Might be time to start supporting some rare Aussie made kit.
Anybody's got the new Vyper ?
Have you seen any Unifoil made in Australia yet ? I wonder if it is worth it considering the price.

I think they have Brought production of all to Australia for the Gen 2 wings about to be available. A dealer told me this. Has anyone else heard this?
Just spoke to Adam Benetts , molds are now done so probably early September.
hey Piros,
are you going to give these a crack. You got me thinking about other foils when you said you like the simplicity of some brands rather than all the tweaking you get in Armstrong. I do love my Armstrong wings but it's always good to rest other gear. The new vyper range sound good and it seems all made in Australia.

Hi Frenchfoiler et. al.
I've been riding the Takuma 1300/1600 combo and was thinking of switching to Uni... at 86kg for prone and winging, do think it would be the call to order the Vyper at 170 and the Hyper at 190, or go 210 Hyper, or? Hard to decide when the Vyper is as of yet unridden by us average joes. Obiously the safe route is to go Kujira, but the marketing videos from Adam are very enticing!

Hard to tel, all those new foil are pretty good, no bad choices.
The only thing I see is that the new Vyper looks promising for sure !
