Get a load of the high gloss beautiful timber work down below. Looks like something out of the Titanic! Asking price seems very low. Anyone for selling their house and going halves and disappearing for 5 years ? :-)

The high gloss varnish work makes her look a bit cruise ship like and might wear a bit thin after a fortnight or so. The varnish would have to be sprayed to get that good a finish. I would be worried that If I owned her everyone would think I was some sort of crook or something!

Yes ha ha but I'm old enough not to worry about what other people think. Redoing the varnish would probably cost more than my current boat is worth so I think I would have a rule that nobody goes below in other than bare feet and removes all rings. The price is however amazingly low when you consider what replacement cost would be and that you couldn't buy even a crap box house on Sydney's North Shore and many other areas of Sydney for less than that

The maintenance costs and mooring fees would frighten normal people away.

Select the address you want but leave off the "h t t p s : / / " bit - see pic below
Ctrl C = (Copy)
Go to your post with the cursor flashing then hit Ctrl V = (Paste)
Manually type h t t p s : / / (no spaces) in front of the URL you just pasted in.

Works for me!!

Dunno why we can't just copy the links straight in - I'm sure we used to be able to!!

I think there was only a handful of these built. I had a chat with the owner of one of these when stopped over here a few weeks back. Might even have been this one. Nice looking boat.

If I was still in the market I would definitely be looking at that one. Don't know how you could look at it however if you are not in that lga. Can't even get up to see my boat on Lake Macquarie because I need a pass to leave Sydney. Shame there aren't a few more pictures

The Joubert 34 looks like a fat Currawong 30 as you approach it.

Nice boat and I'm surprised it has not sold. Has an Aries which seems to be mounted a little high. Not sure what a self furling headsail is!

Good example of IOR pinched-in stern extending the waterline nicely in main pic near hull speed :)

SS34 is at the top of my list, and of course, it's locked down in Sydney! :(

Does anyone here know if the SS34 association is still running? I sent an email and got no reply.
