Like those Corian benchtops. The anchor locker is excellent, I think they would be better of putting that rusty anchor in there. I guess that engine will have to be partially dismantled to get it out. Lovely boat but I'm glad I'm not trying to sell it.

Good equipment, all top quality. Not sure I would ever want to own one though. I can buy four SS34's for the same money!

Once again , a real lack of effort in sales presentation, especially the photographs.
Who needs to see a photo of the autopilot manual when one of the engine, cockpit (is she tiller or wheel) or galley is not there?

Agree on both counts .... is cheap !! great boat for the money , 950 hrs on the motor . If new that motor cost about 12 k 950 hrs ago ....

The lack of effort in the photos is an indication of total loss of interest . Someone needs to look at that boat with a view to owning it !

I paid $16000 for my Swanson 28 which was virtually a one owner and in very good condition.
Mine has been a joy to own.
I hope this one sells before I look at it.

I owned this boat for 7 years and never got it wet. Paid $35k for it, spent $20k storing it in Maryborough, it got filled with flood water and drained after which I sold it to the yard for $300.

It might not look so but it made financial sense at the time.

I guess this is a good place to plug my boat?

www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/port-macquarie/motorboats-powerboats/9m-v8-sport-cruiser-port-macquarie-not-running-/1242994358

Not running. V8 Bayliner Sunbridge Sport Cruiser 2651 (1990) previously valued at $30,000 when running, currently located at Port Macquarie Marina.

This is a 8-9m Sports Cruiser with a 5 year old V8 Murcruiser 350 repower crate motor. It is a Alpha leg sterndrive. The boat has a fully enclosed canopy and a swim/ fishing platform on the back. I have a quote to repair the motor for 4k including labour. I originally spent over 30k when I bought this boat (which is what it is insured for) however since it has been rarely used and been berthed in the water for the last couple of years the engine isn't starting. It turns over fine and is not seized.

I am in money trouble and can no longer afford to keep this boat or repair it so I am looking for someone who would like to buy and repair it, I am prepared to take $17,500 which should allow for any costs involved to bring it back to a great condition still having a purchase cost considerably lower than market value.

That could be a good thing if the rebuild is done right.

I hate Lasers but this is a good deal. Some minor defects in the decks but they have sailed in the Melbourne Sail Regatta so the hulls must be reasonable. Selection of sails.

I like the photo where the hull is supported by stands for and aft so the centreboard can be painted.

Whats not to like?
Indestructable steel hull, good designer, nice clean uncluttered interior, solid dodger, shoal water ability, well maintained.
just my opinion though, we all have different taste.

Nice boat and a very good ad. I was not aware they had a steel and lead keel. Excellent video.

I would dispute the indestructible steel hull bit. There is an immaculate steel Adams 36 motorsailer here at the moment. The other steel yachts here are a mixture of heavily maintained vessels and rusting hulks.
