Do you not have a job ? Surf? Or do you just spend all your time worshipping your snake oil overlords to then spend the rest of your time spreading your overlords messages like a good hoodwinked bootlicker ?

Hey Chrispy, we've never met in real life so I'm not taking your posts personally.

I don't currently have a full time job, I sold a small business a few years ago & have been travelling around Australia in a campervan. I'm currently in Geraldton for windsurfing. I make my income by renting out my home in Maroubra in Sydney.

As for your question as to worshipping snake oil overlords I'm not sure who you're referring to so I can't answer that question.

Cheers,
Paul

Ha! its funny when people comment on the number of posts. Its almost like racism.

10k posts? 20k posts? Who cares. Its just a forum. Some with 200 posts may have just posted rubbish anyway, so what does it matter?

Sometimes more is more, but I guess its easier to sit on the sidelines and judge others.

If the system let me, I would have changed my username 10 times over by now and kept the post count low in order to make nervous types happier.

Racism?
Here we go...

Formulaone. I've read and listened to plenty of material from well established experts in their field regarding very real concerns about the vaccine. I have also read just as many pro vaccine view points also from people of the same standing in their field. Plus those in the centre of the same irk.

so to be honest I really don't know. But I wouldn't assume your biking colleague is wrong and Poorly informed - or at the very least may be reading Tin foil hat material but nevertheless there is same serious base behind his concerns even if he doesn't know it.

I'm vaxed and boosted to keep my job. Otherwise . I would have a very difficult decision to make given what I've looked at.

their is an infinitely small moving blurry line between mis information/ conspiracy and the truth. Plenty of view points That were thought of as mis information (and woukd have you cancelled on most platforms) has become the accepted narrative now. What's next ?

In 5 days time McGowan has to fly to Sydney to face off with big Clive P.

To Sydney, the epicenter of the disease riddled eastern states that he has been living in paranoid fear of for the last 2 years.

He will leave the effectively locked down Perth, where mask wearing, vaccines and working from home is the mandated way of life. Where residents have to QR code checking where ever they go and where 100 cops line up to watch 20 people mingling about doing nothing, just in case one of them sneezes and needs to be forcibly arrested. Perth, where hospitals don't do anything but emergency procedures just in case they get two covid cases which overrun the three beds they have.

He will leave that paradise and fly into the zombie-apocalypse of Sydney.

......into the hellhole of the east, the worst of the worst. ....Where there is no vax mandate to do anything. No certificates to show to enter an off-license (or anywhere else). No mask wearing except hospitals, aged care facilities and on public transport. No QR code check-ins to shop at Bunnings. No caps on festivals, sport crowd numbers or public gatherings. No working from home directions, no medical system restrictions......

...it will be like a serf from middle ages travelling from the war-torn outer regions of the empire arriving in Rome. Rome, the place he believes to be the cesspit of debauchery, godlessness and the end of humanity.

But when he gets there - all he sees is the freedom and liberty of the people. The art like he has never imagined, buildings of such magnificence nobody would believe him when he gets home. The vegetables and meats available at the market, fruit that tastes like nothing he has ever tried before. The entertainment in the colosseum, the musicians in the street playing music so sweet it would melt a fairy. The colours, the smells, the buzz.......

It will literally blow his provincial little mind.

So I predict two things are going to happen soon after.
1) McGowan doesn't return to the provinces and finds some reason to stay in the east
2) The border come downs very, very rapidly

He will not notice any difference. I don't know what people think is happening here in the west, but it has been that open and that free almost the whole time. Almost the whole time.

We are wearing masks in public gatherings at the moment, but otherwise life is running as per normal.

Oh yeah, you have to show a printout or phone version of your vaccination certificate. I hate that. I find carrying your mobile phone around with you such a chore.

As for the borders opening, it will happen soon. If they are announcing the date 'this month', they already have an idea of how things are tracking.

Yeah, sure, there is plenty of material out there, but is it good material?

Clearly we had a different interpretation of the podcast of Joe Rogan and Doctor McCullough. I am still surprised that people believed this guy when he really wasn't very impressive at all.

Similarly the Joe Rogan podcast with Robert Malone was rubbish. The guy didn't invent mRNA vaccines and was just a cog in the wheel of their ultimate developent.

But there were some good Joe Rogan podcasts, with sensible medical fact, but they never seemed to have been publicised. Is it that they don't fit the theme and therefore not posted all over facebook? One was so balanced that I changed my opinion of Joe Rogan and think that he is getting blamed for the over repetition of the McCullough and Malone podcasts.

The biking colleague? I actually saw him on the first day he turned up, driving in smooth flowing traffic like a loon. Hammering it off the line, cutting in on people, driving like a complete idiot. I am sure he has other problems, so I am not going to ask him any questions about vaccines.

Great black sabbath song. I still don't understand why you wouldn't stock up on loo paper.

Limiting bulk buys has just made more people having to return to crowded shops to buy more supplies! I can stock my house or yacht for over month with food and supplies if limits aren't put in place.??

That's something which is unlikely to be determined without debate.

Steve Kirsch offered $2mil to debate him and his team. No takers.

Do yourself a favour and read Robert Kennedy's book on Fauci. I hate to see you wallowing!

That guy that offered $2M for someone to debate him has to be complete BS. Don't you guys evaluate these things some times? Any times? Does logic ever come into it or do you just gulp it down because its against the official responses?

If someone had an offer for anyone to debate him for $2M on the topic, even if they lost, don't you think someone would have taken him up on the offer? Think about it. Steve Smith from down the road would do it. Clearly its bullsh1t. Its mentioned in that McCullough podcast as if it actually means something. Don't you get it? A non-fact, but an implication that it can't be debated via a very indirect statement.

For $2M I would debate it, and be glorious in my defeat. I would be $2M richer. If someone offered YOU that money to argue for vaccination, would you do it?

'See you wallowing'? Aren't you that guy that always cries about ad hominen attacks? I see that being a hypocrite is fine with you. I don't mind being one myself, so you are not alone.

Say what you will took the time to listen to listen to him on a podcast.

Do yourself a favour. Read Robert Kennedy's book. He goes to great lengths to document the history of the escalating control of the megalithic pharmaceutical companies of most facets of medicine.

The book will either be burned or used as a text book for anyone studying corruption.

If you answer something like "When WA has as more daily cases reported than any other state / territory", then that isn't a solution.

That is just an illogical reason to extend the pain until you get to the inevitable and have exactly the same outcome, just with a much longer period of pain before it.

I am predicting that he will open the borders on the 3rd of march... just not for The Doctor or anyone else not triple vaxxed.

He has gone easy. I expected quadruple vaxxed plus $1000 cash in unmarked bills.

Sort of good in a way. I was a bit annoyed/amused that MM was saying NSW didn't do a good job. Easy to say when its not you that has to deal with lots of immigration and Omicron.

has anyone noticed the supermarket shelves a looking a little bare.
I wonder if the bed wetter in chief will maintain his popularity when the shelves run completely bare.
Sure, there's a number of contributing factors but folks with empty bellies might notice the one at the top.

I take back what I said. This food shortage is killing me! I am sitting here eating hommus and guacamole, but I couldn't find any seaweed Sakata crackers in the supermarket. Some crazy pandemic horders have taken them all. I had to resort to 'honey soy chicken'. Has anyone ever seen a honey soy chicken, I don't even think they exist.

Oh the humanity!

Heck, I like the guy more now for his position on all this stuff. I am sure I wouldn't be the only one.

Has he dropped in the opinion polls?

I noted that he will be in hotel quarantine when the border controls are eased and he has committed to staying in quarantine to ensure that no one thinks he has done this to make his life easier.

Its sort of a hollow victory for some as they can't get back in, or visit anyway unless triple vaxxed.

Going to be kind of ironic that by 3rd March WA will have higher daily case numbers per population than anywhere else.

I reckon everyone else should close their borders to WA on 4th March.

Are they allowing international tourists or just returning residents? ...but they do need to quarantine. I think this is an attempt to allow people to be repatriated here, but not allow anyone in regardless of vaccination status.

edit: I guess you need to actually read the details instead of just saying they make no sense...

from www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-18/mark-mcgowan-announces-wa-border-update/100843126

"All interstate arrivals will be provided with a RAT.

Unvaccinated returning Australians flying into Perth would be capped at 70 per week and they would be required to undergo a week of quarantine in a hotel.

In line with Commonwealth rules, unvaccinated international tourists will be banned."

McGowan reported said that the delay was reasonable because it allowed WA to get the vax levels up.

So I figured I'd go check and see what the increase in vax levels was / will likely be between 5th Feb and 3rd March.

A quick stats assessment in my head between 5th Feb and today and then projecting the curve forward another couple of weeks and it looks like .........somewhere around........ 2% increase, from 94% to 96% double dosed (over 12 years old).

I can't imagine a 2% difference in vax levels really makes the difference between an open and a closed border.

So I figured I should also check third dose maybe that is a big difference and where the logic lies.

But I couldn't find the stats - and then I noticed that more than half of the land mass of WA is reporting to having vaxed more people than live there !!!

10,900 people dosed per 10,000 residents apparently !!

Maybe maths isn't their strong point ?

Its almost as if they mean a 'dose' is an actual injection. Not that anyone would ever confuse it with being double or triple vaxxed...

but the really important thing is:

"The Premier also revealed that, based on health advice, bottle shops would be removed from proof of vaccination requirements immediately."
