I was told by someone riding the powerpacks that the upwind is only "passable". Seems like if upwind is important then the PR is still the tool. Less exciting if it's a return to Ka'a style. I wonder though if this will be another parawing where people have to figure out how to ride it upwind or will it be a hard, only passable, version.

I've seen some prices starting to pop up on websites and it looks like the Power Packs are maybe a bit cheaper.

Any rumors of a v2 Pocket Rocket trickling out? I'm sure that's the better choice for me.

Actually a little more expensive than the PR. The marketing copy makes it pretty clear that there is some compromise in upwind for easier packdown and grunt.

Okay I'll definitely wait for PRv2.

Biggest thing I'll be looking for is reinforcement of those laser cut edges.
