Nice tight engineered spring is nice there is no question. These are mostly luxeries for the sub 85kg class lol. The drag from the Cedrus is noticable, but ive learned to live with it as the price of admission. I personally am not a monogamous foiler, i like to try and use different foiling systems so the Cedrus is a no brainer

@Martyman: metoo. Right now i,m on the Cabrinha,s H series and a Kujira1210 and its great that you can use a several brands fuses and wings on 1 mast while still needing less bolts as putting a different plane on an Armstrong set. (I can,t leave my foil in 1 piece all the time)

@North_Kiter.Gofoil: I owned a mast and the first gen foils (Maliko/IWA) and really liked them but in the netherlands there are no dealers, no possibility to try anything while asking a premium price. For the price of one GF fromtwing I could buy a 2 SAB fronts and a stab.

The word is that Cabrinha comes with 3 different length very stiff hollow mast in the next few months. Depending on how they gonna solve an warranty issue with an wing I probably want one because there frontwings are amazing.

I bought a 93cm project cedrus

i also have the axis 76cm carbon mast.
I ride a 810 bcs axis on a ultra short fuse.
they turn the same. I was surprised about this.
the cedrus jumps better and higher (because it's longer)

obviously the cedrus doesn't breach as much.
I bought it because the high modulous by axis is too heavy. And I'm supper happy

I would definitely throw the NoLimitz to the discussion. I think they worked out the kinks from their early production units.
I own both Cedrus and NoLimitz and often ride GoFoil and Axis original masts.

Haven't had the chance to try the new GoFoil mast but their previous model, from my experience, has the most drag of all the mentioned above. I really start noticing it when riding wings like the RS1150 and down. I can compare it directly to the Cedrus as I have GoFoil Fuse connecting directly to the Cedrus. It is stiff though, couldn't tell the difference between the Cedrus and GF as far as stiffness.

NoLimitz puts both to shame in the drag department. I can feel certain foils comes to life with the NL. Riding the new F-one HA wings the
difference is very noticeable, very smooth mast. The NL definitely has more flex than both but in reality it's only noticeable on bigger foils. It really is my go to mast these days.

I hear NolImitz started manufacturing masts for other brands with slightly different specs from their own line (little heavier but stiffer I hear),
Hopefully I'll have hands on beginning of next year.

I'm on current gen gofoil as in flat water winging you feel the drag for sure, whether it be the new steps, or mast or using the same tail in fts/ftl, I don't know. I think it's a surf/sup brand and perhaps where that drag doesn't matter that much in maui as they have stonking wind and wave mostly year round, def not like the east coast of aussie, the polar opposite.

I'm patiently waiting for Cabrinha's new line up, supposed to be coming in January, hopefully a strong thin mast with new range of MA foils so hopefully 1 setup for kite/surf/sup/wing.

I'd like to demo the new Unifoil and katana mast for a weekend to see what that's like...can't get the courage to buy blind again
