Which Eagle would be the best lightwind (8-14kts) companion for a sk8 950 for winging?
My weight is 83kg. Had been to el medano, teneriffe recently and everybody who was solidly flying in these marginal winter conditions was on a span of 110cm and above sometimes even with a dw-board . So I'd go for a Eagle 1290 and XXXS C200 for more playfulness , what do you think?

Definitely don't need to go that massive. 1290 is designed for DW. I use the 890 in light winds and your 950 already should have a good bottom end.
I'd say 990 max.

Rumors have it that F-One is coming out with new Sk8's, also in bigger sizes. I'm holding off buying my light wind wing until these are released in a few weeks (and tested and reviewed). An 1150 cm Sk8 that pops up easy would be awesome for lighter wind days.

You don't need a sk8 that big unless you're 100kg. Even then, just pair with a narrow board and bigger wing.
Eagle 990 is enough with a 6m v3 CWC. I can get 650 sk8 going very early.
Best part of the sk8's are you can pump them at crazy angles upwind.
