What happened to Naish dropping all their new gear on the 4th of September? Failure to launch?
I was curious about the new ADX, but didn't really see any info other than a few seconds of Ewan picking up a tiny 2m. Also saw a 3 strut 6m wing in the background during Robby's interview.
The new Chimera board looks great.
There was a small segment on their updated parawing, it's out there in Utube land. I liked the Chimera as well, I'm sure the $$$ for the hollow one will be out of my range.
As I'm riding North foils, I was stoked on the super slippery 72 CM UHM, I've been requesting that for awhile.
I'm currently riding a North 85cm HM mast with a SF1230 and am curious about the track positioning on the new Chimera and if it will be compatible with the North foils as I have found I have to run it at the front of the box on my Fanatic board.
My North foils (SF's and DW's) all run pretty forward on my Naish Hover Ascend w room to spare. I always ride w my foot straps all the way forward as well.
Can someone explain why some brands (like GoFoil) are conspicuously absent from AWSI, is it a marketing strategy, are they afraid of the competition. Same in competitions. If a brand isn't in the ring fighting with the others you ask yourself why?

Absolutely:
AWSI is an expensive event. It's for industry insiders and many brands see it as a waste of time and money to go and show all the other brands what they are releasing. Which, TBH, makes a lot of sense. If a brand has nothing new to announce/release/hype to youtubers at the event then what's the point?
As far as competitions go: I'd guess that 99% of foilers have zero interest in competing or watching competitions. So, same thing. Many brands may see it as a waste of time and money to push for dominance in the competition realm. Speaking for myself, I've never ridden a foil that I've seen in a comp and don't even have an interest in pursuing them.
Did anyone actually try that new yellow KT "astro" wing? . As a freestyler i don't see anything new coming out for me to get really excited about. Happy to see that north is making their boards lighter but sticks with the same dimensions. Was hoping to see a wider KT board for jumpers (short and wide), but it's not the trend we are going unfortunately.

A good way to see if they are working on something is to follow the team riders' socials.

I saw that board. But Nathan was already for a year + on that new wing. It took ages for it to be released. That board shape is exactly what im looking for..
