I would say LIB's confusion comes from the name of the run

There are those who use "the Glory hole"

and then there's LIBy

who likes to remain anonymous and hide behind the wall waiting to give get their next mouth full

The laugh is that Australind crew, Kiters and Windsurfers all get on very nicely and have been known to have regular little drag races down the run

So LIBy

you a spitter, swallower or gargler?

Im so tired of showing you guys up with my skills.
I know Im one of the best, and you all feel the need to prove yourselves to me,
but really,it dosent make me happy watching you guys through my rooster tail getting further and further away.

Im mean seriously, how often(if ever) have you seen a dancer overtake a kiter on a wave or heading back out to the line up???????

Sorry I didnt reply earlier,
I didnt want to disturb you guy while you were eating dinner at 4pm.
Why do old people always eat that early????????

Ummm..... I think I really need to call you on that one.
Firstly, on my wave gear at Perth beaches, if I am planing easily (so 18kn plus) I am always catching all the kites. I am not fast and never done speed sailing per se, as an ex-polie (apparently) you will know my gear is not fast. So why do I catch them whether sailing upwind or on a reach they are slow. Not some of them, I am overtaking all of them. Very annoying as then you have to keep clear of the damn strings (we obey right of way rules like overtaker has to keep clear).
I say any experienced windsurfer in Perth on slalom gear in a 20kn seabreeze will beat any of the regular experienced kiters in a drag.

Secondly, you said you'd beat Bender at the Mandurah Mob's speed strip and you seem to not have responded to the 37kn challenge?

If you read the post above I think I did.
You guys dont have to prove yourselves to me.Its ok,dont feel bad.I dont

As for you overtaking EVERY kiter on the water in 18knots ha ha haaaa ha haaaa ha ha"Tell him he's dream'n".
If you are actually faster(ha ha)you would be the only dancer that I'd like to have in the water with me so I dont have to spend half the session dodging their slow asses.
They are good for boosting over though
Oh and mark,I think you have something in your eye lol

As for dancers being faster, the only time I have seen a dancer overtake a kiter is if the kiter has slowed down to wait for a set to roll through or to try a new move.

Or if the kiter has only been kiting for 2 months.

Trust me,I see it everday. And know from dancing before how slow the big sluggish gear is.

mmmmm, everyone seems to think the speed record is irrelevent now that the dancers cant keep up. ha ha ha haaaaa ha

The old dude out yesterday on a dance board has been on the dance floor for 12 years, all the newbie kiters are already running rings around him.
Yeah, I must admit,I felt sorry for him ,watching him take off on a wave and not being able to keep up with the peeling wave as a kiter simply bottom turned around him and smashed the lip.Didnt get in the dancers way,he just didnt want to see a good wave go to waste.I guess its like when you see a goatboater take off on the set of the day and you think"what a waste"

Was just looking at the sailing speed records,
firstly isnt that ridiculous prototype yacht thats dominating the records?

and secondly "let it blow all over my face" unless your one of those three french bastards that snuck into the 45+ knots charts, then your still gonna be just another teabagger that finishs his backflips by untangling his lines.

Ha ha haa^^^^^your a classic.

Im just trying to help you guys out, cant you see that
I danced for many years(even did ok in a few local comps) and use to also bag out the kiters as all you guys do.

Then one day I got of my high horse and actually gave it ago.

Till you have ago for few years, you guys will never know what your missing.
Sad really,
When people stay in their little comfortable bubble where they feel safe,
too old and set in their ways.
You can teach a old dog new tricks.

I think most are way too proud to even think of starting at the bottom again,
I guess that just comes with "maturity"????lol

Well I do, and so do most of the other wavesailors I see. Maybe Dutchies attracts all the kook kiters? Believe it or choose not to, I don't care.

[b]They are good for boosting over though

ahh yet another kiter dumps himself in it for safety and showing off issues that we complain about but they all deny

[b]Yeah, I must admit,I felt sorry for him ,watching him take off on a wave and not being able to keep up with the peeling wave as a kiter simply bottom turned around him

ditto. more dropping in, dangerous riding and lack of respect endorsed by a kiter. and they all deny it.....

Or maybe it because all the dancers I have seen all around aussie and overseas are kooks. That sounds more realistic than all the kook kiters are at dutch ovens

Please notice the before you bite with loud bold letters

Reformed smoker,
Refomed alcoholic,
Reformed poledancer,

Notice all the things after the word reformed are bad,
ha ha haaaaa ha
Thanks for the great comparision.

What are you doing up after old age care "lights out " anyway.
I think whats worse than a reformed person,is a person who bags something they havent given a good go.
ignorance is bliss,I guess?

Its good in life to have a crack at everything thing you can.No matter how old.
not try one thing ,then sit in the corner complaining about what youngens are doing.

In ancient Greece (469 - 399 BC), Bender was widely lauded for his wisdom.

One day LIB ran up to him excitedly and said, "Bender, do you know what I just heard about Pole dancers?"

"Wait a moment," Bender replied, "Before you tell me I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test."
'Triple filter?" asked LIB.

"That's right," Bender continued, "Before you talk to me about pole dancers let's take a moment to filter what you're going to say. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"No," LIB said, "Actually I just heard about it."

"All right," said Bender, "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about pole dancers something good?"

"No, on the contrary..."

"So," Bender continued, "You want to tell me something about Pole dancers that may be bad, even though you're not certain it's true?"

LIB shrugged, a little embarrassed. Bender continued, "You may still pass the test though, because there is a third filter, the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about pole dancers going to be useful to me or anyone else?"

"No, not really."

"Well," concluded Bender, "If what you want to tell me is neither True nor Good nor even useful, why tell it to me or anyone at all?"LIB was bewildered and ashamed.
This is an example of why Bender was and is, a great philosopher and held in such high esteem.

When the data drops, the bs stops... I've seen lots of bender's data, and none from "let it blow"...

C'mon I'll even lend you a GPS. Go out on any day and we'll see who's fastest. Bender would be up for it, I betcha.
