Thats fine Ian happy to help - been there done that, got the photo's, even if they are 20 years old now- the winter drfift from Adelaide to cactus to the Bluff an gnaraloo in 85 and 86 on Bob Hawkes surf team -$196 a fortnight above the 26th parallel paid fortnightly into the Carnarvon Commonwealth bank - them were the days aaarh!

How about June long weekend to Pt lincoln - we were talking winter rally with the ssaws mob last weekend - catch the ferry on thurs or fri and have a sail somewher.

Just a thought - how are the sw- nw'rs around that time of year

re; lincoln in winter- middleton's more reliable option until oct/nov.
then seabreezes start + wsw erlies x shore at wreck/mine

also- if anyone does make trip to lincoln- make sure you take Fredo up on shooting the action- west coast crystal water etc makes for great shooting + Fredo has 500mm, DSLR, all latest gear, can make anyone look good and is keen to shoot more windsurfing

Sounds like June long weekend at home - not sure anyone else is keen to head over - must say I am very keen to get over west again some time - havnt been for 18 months or so (cactus) and havn't been to streaky and elliston for so lon gi cant remember - maybe Australia day weekend next year - is the Tunarama festival on then??

yeah tunarama's oz day longweekend. good sailing time- this ozday weekend cranked at elliston. be warned tho most locals leave town for tunarama as are a lot of pisd ferals around; accom is tight too;that said the fireworks display is awesome on sat night. if heading over let us know- we can help you out with accom advice, have a barbie etc- be great to have more crew over. walkers is a great place to sail and windiest spot on west coast- big sheltered lagoon that is great for beginners/girls/mals- further down the beach you go the bigger and gnarlier it gets (like long beach robe but curves in 1/2 a km, not 10kms), wind x offshore. then theres the outer reef if you like punishment
