Tony, Chris....can you please shed some light on how the brown snake came to have no head? Was Ozzie Osborne at 3rd Ramp?
Yay, come for a visit. We have it.
I think Richard Upton deserves accolades for his awesome effort, he was the only person out every day from 1 to 5 wavesailing in 5 knots and getting some great waves.
I've been working on the sup pics all day and hope to load them to my website soon, www.susiesphotos.com.au still under construction, cut down 350 sup to 150, but here is one of them. I'll add more tomorrow and look for one of Richard now, got some great shots this weekend, I'll be busy for a while.
By the way the originals are huge and really clear, good quality pics.
Thanks for your comments Susie - looking forward to seeing a photo. It was fun seeing what these new longboards can do in the waves. I had the best session on Friday, I guess 5 knots cross-onshore, mostly backside rides. Probably needed a few more knots to ride frontside and carve a few turns. Even lighter winds are do-able, but much harder to pick up a wave. The Kona One that I have is the Holden Kingswood of the Kona range - they have some really nice looking longboards for the waves now:http://www.kona-windsurfing.com/index_en.asp
Richard.
P.S. Thanks to Onboard for putting on a great event!
