Me influence Andrew, I'd like to see that

Standard X ply will be a touch heavier, spongier and more expensive. So Andrew's response is generally, Why would we??????

I would like to do a sample in a high tech scrim like ODL04. We might do so we can see what the weight save is. Way, way more expensive though so it would need to be a significant difference to justify it.

I saw andrew with Bret a few weeks ago taken photos of thease sails on the beach and I was talking to him about my 08 6.6 Koncept. I told him I really love the sail, but it was not really that strong and had to get my one repaired a few times from putting my knee in to it. I said to him ''I think the koncept would be alot better if it was made aout of x ply'' he told me I could specialy order one in from china if i get my order in early. But then he said if i get one made for you every one will probly want one. I know a few other guys too, who would of brought the Koncept if it was made out of x ply, so instead they brought the Koyota. Please Love! talk andrew into maken a x ply Koncept with real fancy colours! Ka will sell millions!

Hey mr. Love, why did you get rid of the silver in your 011 sails?? every dude who sees my brothers 010 one on the beach makes a comment on how nice it looks with the silver. Why change???? could'nt you just change the colours around the silver so people will know there 011 sails??

Hi Flip, No real reason to go away from the Silver X, just felt it was time for a change so decided on black and white film as the theme for this year. I did expect some backlash, the Silver is a bit of a love or hate thing. We can always do a batch if there is enough demand.

Xply Koncept also not out of the question, just need enough people interested.

Hey , and don't call me Love, it,s MR

1st time today on 2011 Ka koncept 6.6m. Unbelievable sail! Heaps of power, light in the hands and goes upwind and off the wind like a steam train. Very stable and locked in feel and seems to plane through lulls very well. Looks good too. Can't wait to try the 5.8:-)

Let face it; if you are reading this you are ka koncept fan and what you want to know one thing. Has there been anything major done that makes me want to part with the the hard earned $ for another ka sail. I tested the 6.6 Ka Koncept on the weekend and it screams to the future of windsurfing wind gods one thing "WINDSURFING IS BACK AND VERY COOL BABY!!!!!"

You need this sail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Russ

Easty,
hope you enjoy the new KA 5.7m kaos
Cheers Russ

This Kaos Russ is referring to is an '05? model. Horrible Collingwood colours[}:)]. I can't believe this sail was marketed as a "wave" sail. I'm your average back and forth bump and (try) jump sailor, so the strong construction and the fact I needed to replace an old 5.7 Karve, and Russ had far too many sails and needed to sell some, meant I had to buy it. I've used it 6 times, and can't believe it's versatility. I have already set 2 PB speeds on it, last time recording a few runs over 30 Knts in moderate winds with wave board / fin. But for general blasting around, it's a great stable sail that with small adjustments will cope with a range of conditions. If it's a wave sail, it must be superb at that!.
My point is though, being an average sailor, and being stoked at an older model, how good must the new models be?
