Yes you are right, I have things to do. 
Still buzzing, ist decent go on the foil today, about two hours in light marginal 10 -12 knot conditions perfect for learning.
I rigged a 6.6 koyote and was able to get going in the stronger gusts. The wind picked up a bit in the second hour probably 12-14 and I was getting used to it a bit. I managed one decent run towards out the back and the sensation of the smooth ride just smacking the occasional top of the chop is amazing I was hoping for a nautical mile but managed to crash before the end. In fact I managed to crash a lot. Footstraps need adjusting as I was getting caught in them a couple of the times too. I didn't run out of physical puff but the concentration level is so high that my brain got full. I came in and the wind really kicked in then so I went back out for a photo opportunity and can report that when it is 6 meter windsurfing weather 6.5 on a foil is about two meters too big, all I did was go ballistic and crash like a North Korean missile test.
I'm loving this foiling lark I can tell you. I can also report that my finbox reinforcement was a success as I ran aground a couple of times
and managed to scratch the wing bottom 
not deep fortunately. A rub with wet and dry will fix it. Early days but I reckon by summer I will be foiling

Another session on the foil at wello today, really light winds so rigged my ezzy 7.0 freeride. flying the foil about 25% percent and looking at my tracks on the full size screen looks like a drunk is at the controls. Much less wind than last time and I wouldn't use a bigger sail til l get MUCH more experienced. Very humbling. just when i think i've got it trimmed i go into a death wobble and crash ...again ...or breach like a hunted mullet Yee har....
Another session on the foil at wello. Who'd sail in a westerly BLAGH! started with a 5.2 and by the time i'd finished buggarising around and launched the wind dropped...after about half an hour came back and changed to the 7.0- much better but ran out of time and tide. A grand total of about 10 k's. BUT, I'm hooked. Cant wait till my next go. It's like learning to sail all over again like a real newbie.
Wello co-operated today with a light nor-easter so I managed a few runs on the foil though it was really marginal on the 7.0 ezzy. Better wind out past the markers and still not choppy! Looking good for a thurs southeaster. Strange to be sailing at wello and not another board or kite on the water!!!!

This is the easiest spot (shortest walk) but not always the windiest.

In a N/NE it can be a few knots stronger at Wynnum. It was a lot better at Wynnum yesterday and was 15+ today.
Pete, the little beach on the south side of Wynnum creek is the go in a N/NE. At low tide it is still a walk out and a bit shallow but it's not bad under foot. If you go out there, stay way out from darling point as it's shallow a fair way out. Great spot, on Sunday I was taking the race board on long runs from Wynnum Creek to the Manly Harbour channel and back.
Otherwise, the walk out at the beach at RQ is the best at low tide on anything E-S.
Anyone heading out today at Pt Halloran? I was out all on my own yesterday. Wind is starting to look good.

Wind died at about 3:30 so I didn't end up going out. Today is looking much better though.
