What's happening?! After telling Shifu to harden up and get back out there, I went over the handle bars yesterday at Queens' despite perfect smoothe and fast conditions. Landed in the "scorpion" position and now my back and neck are buggered. We're cursed....,

Jeez, not good news Doc.
Thinking this through mate... didn't have the 'end of session' sacrificial beer
One & one starting to add up here... reckon you might need to appease the wind GOD(s) to get back on the water. Prescribing a nice cold larger, take 2-3 a day until the slab is finished. Should do it but if not, recommend repeating the prescription indefinitely. Get well & see you out there soon.

She is a hard mistress mate, you will be back !
Going to Qs late this arvo, say 4-ish, to have a sacrificial beach beverage to keep this wind going. Anyone interested? Should be a nice end to the week and watch the day disappear into beautiful Moreton Bay.

Can't make it this arvo, but kept the juju flowing yesterday with a 2pm sesh before the school run. Enjoy happy hour!
I have a Covid "unsafe" party I don't want to be late for so I'm out. Enjoy the beautiful afternoon.
Option #1 : We all get there early, sail out and stage an 'old windsurfers matter' protest to stop other people having fun.
Option #2 : All roll down the road for a change and sail off the Red Dolphin at Scotts Point, Margate just like the 80s

I doubt you will notice much difference out on the water, only a few in the water at a time I think as the heats run and none of the annoying foilers out there. Being a southerly they will be downwind of the normal sailing lines.
Just the parking might be tight, so if you turn up and wonder what's going on, now we know. Starts around 10am
All good Mr Sail, thnx for the heads up. Hope the rain moves through so the kite crew can have a good comp.
Great after work sail with everyone at QBN. The lighting bolt strike on the water sped up our derigging.
Been looking forward to seeing last Friday's session. It came up well. Will need to get my GoPro out too, to return the favour.
Nice!
Ian on a JP????????
I thought you and Exocet were inseparable

Had to go with what I could find!
Had a short sail at queens beach today as i were working close, holy **** that place sorts the men from the boys! And I'm obviously a boy, from shore it looks great but when i got out a bit the friggin swell was huge compared to my usual spot, what an exhilarating experience. Water starting way out amongst the swell, no sharks got me as i probably stank from sweating at work all day
. I was buggered in no time at all, reckon i better come back and get some more punishment sometime, nice to meet Brent too when he finished making it look so easy.
A few of us bought tickets to Robbie Naish The Longest Wave movie for Friday 27th at Hoyts Kippa-Ring at 5pm. Who else would be interested in coming?

Cant make the movie WR, previous engagement... None the less am heading down to Qs around 4.30 for an end of week, icy cold beach beer.
