Few of hours either side of Hightide n theres barely ANY water to sail.
My Prediction- its going to silt up n Close off from that Northern sandbank all the way to Tripcony/Bulcock/ Happy Valley.
No Caloundra Bar.

Looks like we have the weather for it and some good tides.
Weather map setting up SE for a few days followed by strong NE into next week as high reaches NZ. Classic setup. Just need high to stay above 1035

Could you clean up and remove the logs with a chain saw during a work bee on a good low tide?
John, im usually picking up logs n bits n pieces for ponds n garden ornaments. Lowtide access is a simple stroll from Naval Cadets.
Not sure how the Council would view a Mass pruning.

Also Large Oyster bars now uncovered running roughly parallel to the new sandbar vicinity.
Im still not sailing, but frequent the area fishing.

The picture is a bit misleading of what it actually is. Did the low tide walk over and along the banks - I'll stick to the usual SE speed run.

About 1.5m id reckon.
Had a chat with AusMoz, decided probably best to save my fuel. Sounds a bit dangerous. Should be better sailing local.

Like i said its sketchy even in a 12ft tinny.
Plenty of obstacles to dodge threading thru the myriad of < 2ft deep channels.
