Looked pretty in control to me..
Awesome save..
Thanks again to everyone who was involved. Freerace results below. Note this is heat 3 of the series - heat 4 is 6th or 7th January on Lake Macquarie.
A great effort from Brad Anderson to win both Friday and Saturday before having to drive home to Brisbane on Sunday. Amazingly both days he did exactly the same distance (21.368km) in the 30 min period. Very consistent!

Thanks James for your efforts to get the results out. That Sunday race really changed the results, A lot of good results, well done Brad you were sailing fast - great to meet you.
Well done everyone Brad you could tell you and Justin were faster in the GPS.
Crazy close Justin and Rick I did not think at all I would have beaten you must have been my jibing as I thought you seemed quicker.
some impesive results from everyone all round.
Yeah well done Byron, congratulations. and also to Brad, well sailed to both of you.
If my maths are correct I missed 2nd place in heat 2 by 10metres and 1st place in heat 3 by 50 metres. I am finding it hard to take the last race (ht3) as I was fully stacked on a 9.2m and 81cm wide, with that advantage I should have got that one
Oh well I need to keep working on the details I guess.
Nice Ht3 Tibor ![]()
Thanks again for the fun weekend away
Well done Ladies and Gents. Some pretty high hours there. So what size gear where you using in Heat 1 and 2 Justin? Massive hour using a 9.2m!!

Yep I've seen that. It's amazing!
Thanks to all the sailors who attended round 3 of the NSW GPS Series at Coal Point on Saturday. We had a great event with 19 competitors taking part, along with a handful of locals mixing it up in the challenging ENE conditions.
We had a good mix of light to medium wind and flat to choppy conditions throughout the race zones, which provided testing conditions for sailors at times.
Main event sponsor Remi Dunoyer (The Windsurfing Shed) showed true class on the day to take 3 bullets and the event win ahead of Byron McIlveen in second place with Stephen Walsh for 3rd just 1 point behind. Justin Lord also showed some speed to take 2nd in race 1. Well done Justin!
We look forward to the next round in Sydney in 3 weeks time.
We will have a full list of results including handicap positions posted asap.
Sorry for the delay on the results guys. We had to chase up some files from competitors in order to get a complete result.
It was great to see some close racing right through the whole fleet with 3 countbacks in total.
Once again, congratulations to Remi for the win!
We look forward to seeing everyone in Sydney for the next event.
