Steve Walsh did a rigging and tuneup tutorial which was in depth and excellent. Very positive comments and I am sure people got many improvement tips.
we will be doing tutorials at each event. I think it's rewarding and satisfying giving back to the sport to help people.

Such a nice weekend with great company the weather has been unreal but unfortunately the wind didn't happen.
I liked the caravan park and forster so much I have booked family into holiday at Christmas.
Awesome guys. Thanks to the organisers ( James, Walshy, Muz, Byron ect.) for putting in the hard work to make it such a great weekend. We were unlucky with the wind but it was great to catch up with everybody and hang out. See you all at the next round!
the whole weekend was great, very positive vibes for our sport, thank you organisers, sponsors and local gps team who made us welcome at their home ground.
I hit 50 knots as I left the sailing club carpark tonight, do I win?

I think everyone was a winner with such a lovely spot with great people.
Kids all swimming and playing in the warm sandy bottom wate I know they enjoyed it as well.
I really enjoyed the company, tips and help with gear.
Even though the wind didn't oblige for racing I still sailed 3 out of 3 days and enjoyed just floating around sussing out the place.
Friday was great in 15 -23kts saw.. chop surprisingly small for the wind. Great fun! I'm definitely coming back.![]()

So good to be part of the 2017,2018 NSW GPS/SLALOM series that came to our shores and pleased to put faces to the avatars from the GPSTC who we haven't met previously. We weren't as fortunate with the wind as last years event but all made the most of it anyway.
A big thanks to the organisers Byron, James and Adam. Special thanks to Steve Walsh for his knowledgeable top tuning tips which I'm sure everyone found useful. Also to the sponsors and to Aaron Constable for stepping up and arranging prizes from local businesses all off his own bat and making it worthwhile for the drive up. Great job!
We 've just booked our site at Myall Shores for the next event in the first weekend in December. Fingers crossed for some wind. See you there!
Cheers,Gabe.

Hi Guys,
Unfortunately, due to the light forecast this weekend, Round 2 of the GPS Race Series in Sydney is postponed.
Our sailing rules state we need 12 knots for racing, and the forecast is looking to be under 10 knots over the weekend.
The race committee will look at alternative dates for early next year and notify everyone as soon as possible.

....and perhaps move it to Huskisson where it's windy, where the dolphins play and the mermaids say hello with a smile!
Looking forward to next weekend at myall lakes. Still early days but forecast looking pretty nice. See you there!
Yep state slalom and GPS round 3 at Myall shores caravan park.

Hi Guys,
Just a reminder the NSW GPS and State Slalom Titles are on this weekend (1st - 3rd Dec) at Myall Lakes.
The forecast is looking promising, and the energy towards this event has been huge from sailors up and down the coast.
Remember, this event is tailored to all windsurfers. It doesn't matter if you just want to freesail around in the gps, or go hard against the best in the state in the slalom championships, this event has you covered.
If you haven't registered yet, don't miss out! Go to - http://gpswindsurfing.com.au/2017-registration
This event is a family friendly event, so don't be afraid to bring the kids.
See you all up there for what we believe will be an amazing 3 days of sailing!
