i've seen foam colapse in vac bags. not sure other than that.
jeez kato, i thought my boards had excessive cutouts..... ![]()
I thought the same thing happened to my board in the early stages, but I think that was when I put the top on, didn't support the board enough and had too much surplus bag on one side of the board.
Once you have the board finished and are only doing mods, I'd be surprised if it moved very much.
Although it depends what you mean by "35" if that's inches of mercury or feet of water, it's more than an atmosphere, (I think) almost anything could happen at that pressure, (I'm not sure how you get more than an atmosphere though)
decrepit all is well the rocker defernately did move but it settled, when i cut the blank off the foam ,the rocker was in the template, so when ever i glassed and bag i would put the board on the block of foam with some sandbaggs so the rocker didnt move under pressure, hope that makes sence)
if 100 was an atmosphere then i was pulling 35( im not sure about that stuff)
sailed the board with the modified foot cutouts, and tail cutouts, and rail chimes, did a PB 29.95 in southerly slopp, the board defernately felt more stable, and the rails didn't look like catching, since then ive added the wings witch gives the front rails a bit more tuck, after adding the wings the board weighs 5.2 kgs so only gained about 30 grams ill do another post when the board is completed
ps the recess's in the footstrapps worked perfect and went as expected, even though i only got 30mm on the outside rail, you could notice the extra pressure with your toe's on the lip
