Neb, Fitz and Maxi after sailing 7 out of 8 days in gero I can't get excited about brisbane wind. This weekend is more like what I'm waiting for but I still can't get fired up for speed . After the waves at coro's, Pt Moore and St george etc, I just want to bump and jump. Maybe I'll put the GPS on just in case you need a second time. It will take months of no wind to resort to big rigs >5.4 or 4.7 again.

That's it! Were selling everything and moving to WA.

Come on, you guys had good wind today, I checked.

Didn't anyone strap on a GPS? *knock knock* Hello? Is anyone here?

Right that's it, I'm defecting to a WA team.

Congrats to Nebs! Great times

The weather here has been mad with the low hanging around. I went out yesterday with 5m and freesex at GB, and it was just to wild, had 1 run.

When the conditions improve we will get back into the GPS stuff.

Nebs, most of our SEQ team's gear isn't suited for 30 to 40 knts, and as you know there aren't a lot of spots over here suited to that wind strength and direction. I hope to be back into serious sailing mid to late 2008. Congrats on your PB's, the move to yonder has been good for your sailing. All the best in WA mate

Neb's had a great day out yesterday on the wave board and 4.7. Unfortunately I had the Gps but it wasn't charged. No power at all. Don't buy a fortrex 201 as I always forget to change it the day before. Wonder if there is a car charger for it.

As Gestall said it wasn't a day for Speed. Just a fun day in the chop and high wind.

I had about three hours on the water, that even a WA sailor would enjoy.

Dear Team SEQ:

It would have been a bit silly for me to live in WA and still be part of the queensland contingent... and Hardie generously offered to let me join the Mandurah Mob, so I'm now part of that team. I won't forget those magic days at Vicky Point, or trying to convince all you workaholics that what you need is a decent sail [}:)]

Farewell, godspeed, and best of luck for 2008.

P.S. Mkseven has defected to the Moreton Bay Mob as of today as well, so you might have to start recruiting!

It doesn't matter what your team you are in, so long as you have fun on the water and have similar reasons to GPS at heart. Best of luck Nebs, I have to be a little bit jealous of where you are, and I did think about moving there many years ago and could have. Make the most of where u are while you can, and looks like you have joined a good team

All the best to Nebs & MK!

Just bear in mind that all team intellectual property must remain confidential from our competitors, especially the secret spots + board, sail & fin advances.

In the recent doldrums the Mob had a whinge at the state of the world meeting at the wello point dirt patch. I proposed we sacrifice a formula board to the wind gods but alas the voices of reason suggested this might incur the wrath of Gestalt.

Things became deeper- vando and pierre disclosed their true feelings (errr not those ones)... if I did not rejoin the team vando would become a wavesailor and pierre would take up kiting. So in the interest of speedsailing and the safety of those not wanting pierre baggin' down the bank at 40knots I reluctantly re-joined.

Location Location Location, thats pretty much it

Good luck for 08 guys.

VP too far away. I'm still not convinced by it yet. I've not had many good runs there, the bank is too tight unless you bare off into nasty channel chop and ferry wake a-la one armed vando.
