Glad you had a go and loved it Alex. You weren't going to, in fear of hurting it, but aren't you glad you did.
Everyone who's hopped on one love's them. I loved how Brad could not be coaxed to have a go because he know's he'll like it, and it might cause trouble at home.
Will be good to see you back again, old or new. Was a great day.
Supply, I'm wondering about though, due to their popularity. At least you've got the old one to get you through.

I hate how you try things and just know if you do you just have to have it. So I'm sure I will get one now even after just a small sail. This is a great board for crossing the bay no matter what the wind which is what I want, set off and just go. Who sells them?

Give Greg Johns a call at Windgenuity mate on: (02) 9982 6444. Talk to him and tell him that you want to be a part of what we're doing here, and see what he can do for you. I'm sure they are right now assessing how to keep up with demand (again).

These are the colour selection for the sails available and the board bag. I have gone with the fastest colour of course should be on the water around early September just in time for warmer water temps.

What's the biggest sail used on the windsurfer LT? Can you stick a longboard race sail on it? Or does that require a sliding track etc...

The One Designs could take a Raceboard sail, but the lift/drag characteristics weren't ideal. The LT is probably fairly similar.

This is where the people who are interested in One design windsurfing would look. Just highlighting that there are some fun alternatives.

Are you assuming people reading this thread have no idea there are other fun forms of windsurfing out there??

looking forward to adding my new Wally LT to my quiver of Slalom, wave, speed and foiling gear

Steve, anybody stocking these at moment?

Look, nothing wrong mentioning the "w" word, as long as we don't restart "that" thread.

Probably would work good on the board
I would think any sail would work good on that board.

Not sure who will end up stocking here in WA ... in the mean time the best man to speak to would be Greg Johns

if you want to spend more time on the water sailing you will be hard pressed to find a better set up

Well who in gods earth voted for the RS-X gotta be the ugliest board of the century. Money talks I suppose.

One of their criteria is cost and windsurfer is obviously the cheapest option there and suitable for a wide wind range.

I wouldn't have a problem with an additional foiling class though.

Happy to wear a few jibes about the Wally but remember where it all started and it is still going strong. Get on the new board and go out with the family one day in sub 12 knots and give a few friends and family a go - nobody will learn to sail on a race board or formula board and they are so fragile you wouldn't let them on it anyway. With the Wally, we can revive the sport which is what we all want isn't it?

I think I'd be in the veterans category at the Olympics anyway....

oh I've used an 8.5m slalom sail with no dramas but in most conditions you really don't need a huge sail cause the board just glides along... cheers, Al

Not sure yet. Boards will Get inspected soon. Only some will be affected apparently. All good, that's what warranty is for I suppose - confident it will be sorted.
