What would you do when you get negative messages from an advert you've put out.
Do you ignore the comments knowing they've come from a place of fear insecurity etc or do you respond in a polite engaging way.
Is it worth the energy...is any form of communication worth pursuing?
I know you've said before Stanislav that any attention is better than non...really!!!??

Seroiusly it probably seems like im on both sides of the fence with this one, but another thing that gets to me other than simulations with out correct forces entered is people picking on spelling to try and show there smarts. Is there a more useless skill than spelling in 2018 , maths, physics, coding, all the sciences, all great skills that lead to things changing the world what has good spelling ever acheived . Al inkorect speling does is giv people with noting beter to do somthing to whing about, anyone can easily reade a sentance with bad speling anyway, so the mesage stil gets throgh to the reader and the whole point of the sentance is only to convey a messgae so it still acheives its objective.

Maths, physics etc all require spelling or how the hell do you record things.
yes you can read basic stuff spelt bad but the more technical the subject the more important it is.

( I really hope there's no mistakes in that now )
are we off topic enough now for this thread to die

Seriously is exactly what it wasn't meant to be!
This thread has obviously gone off the rails, all we're getting is personal irrelevant stuff.
I just thought a bit of humour would be entertaining, and a nice change from the inanities.

Damn you!
In my defence it wasn't a spelling mistake but a wrong word.

Not sure if this has been mentioned on here. Proposed boats for Americas Cup 2021, foiling monohulls' with conventional headsail and a soft wing mainsail. Capable of 50 kn.They must have been impressed with this thread.
MW get some of your sails out on Auckland harbour quick and you may score a great job.

I agree, I was wrong , you were right. There is no point to have this. As you say , no worth the energy. Have you seen them trying "brainstorm" wingsail idea using their collective conscious in Speed and gps talk forums? They totally deviate from the topic and completely died on page2. Funny, CFD blog on my website , generate more interests than this...

Would u like to see my video of me sailing along?

AGAIN this has no comparison, no data, nothing. Its a video of somebody sailing.

Now if you told me the first half was 18kn and the second half 40kn and its the same sail then that might prove part of MW's claims.

Or do you hope that if somebody with sail numbers used it, it must be good? Quick I better buy one.....
Oh a pink one as that is all Robby Naish ever used....

Mates. I had a chance to test ride the MW Black-yellow 6.5m model a few days in Hatteras, NC. Very cool sail. One sail can cover pretty much any wind you throw at it with very progressive and controlled power delivery and speed.
I'm not a speed junkie but for racers it means you basically just need one sail that can cover wind from say 15 to close to 40 knots.
A few adjustments I had to make are that the sail pulls more forward almost immediately and I had to learn to grab the boom more when tacking. Big companies tell us they innovate sail designs but I really have doubts when I saw MW sails.

Found a video from Hatteras here

Just imagine if these sails were actually very good and not that hard to rig and not that fragile and u did only need two of them to cover all wind.???
We would have to write 15 pages of apologies

Imax1, yep theres always plenty of doubters. If it is a good thing id guess itd make the success even sweeter for MW. To my untrained eye it looks like a giant death sleeve though. Dont drop that sucker in the water.
