sounds like a good spot to kite at, I might come out one day.
No best spot is where craze sails, and if you have friends jet-skiers they are welcome too, he loves them .... ![]()

pffffffff......they would still need less consideration than someone like you......putting and floundering around in my way heaps,
but with my extra awesomeness, you dont even know how much one has to consider you on the water.....
if i went for a sess at taren pt, i would bear off right through the middle of a hundred kiters and jetskis
i would take full responsibility for the lines i run,
i wouldn't expect everyone to get out of my way
i would navigate myself to achieve what i want
and if anyone has a problem with that, i would deal with it
i wouldnt expect that everyone adhere to sailing course rules just to appease me
i wouldnt come on seabreeze painting an entitled belief that everyone should get off the water when im coming
if there tough enough to sail with me, hold there own, then there not going to have a problem
again, its people more like yourself that actually require constant consideration,
slow, crash in turning areas, and need rests which are usually taken on what is an established line......
its a pleasure to consider you, but you very ungrateful
as too what one gives you when sharing space![]()

The Kite guys should use the strip in front of Carters Island, the Windsurfers used to use this before the tree line became too tall for Windsurfers but still fine ( perfect for Kites ). And it dosent matter if the tide is high or low. If it wasnt for the trees we would all be there, much flatter water and much, much longer runs. The only reason we moved up to Pelican Point is because of the tree height. Honestly Carters Island is perfect. Problem solved !! Now lets get back to the life !!
We have had trouble at Wello with sailboarders v kiters in the past but I just talk to them saying we all have to keep things safe they responded well we have some respect now for each other now, there is the odd blowin who doesn't respect the rules. At Wello the only time things get tense is on a good nor ester when we all try getting close to the sandbar when sailboarders are heading down the small bank trying to do 40kts but a kiter is heading into it, they get to the bank then do a jump in front of us this is scarey but they tell me they can't always see what's coming I believe them but these days I have noticed they try & keep off the speed run area. I have built a good lot of friends with the local kiters we all get on well. Having said this I have had words with both kiters & sailboarders about sailing close to swimmers this is not on if a kid was hit well I think we all could get band at Wello. Also we should consider if there was a collision on the water it would be bad for those involved look what happen at Victoria Point years ago when there was a head on between two sailboarders one young man died after his ribs were smashed though his heart the other was sued and taken to court he got off but it cost him $10000 plus the feeling of being involved. Good topic well done for starting it yes we all need to be careful.
The rules are there for everyone's safety and are in place for that purpose. I do not understand your argument about old rules etc.... what a dumb comment!. Pretty sure you have difficulty in reading my first post but I think you will find I took evasive action to avoid a 3 collisions, so a bit pissed of with some knobhead comments. If I was avoiding a collision from some one who wasn't abiding by the rules then what have I done wrong?
Idiots
