Anyway, I see some fighting on my thread. Heh.

We finally got a decent 10-15knot day here, where the wind was pretty consistent the entire time. I rode for 4 hours straight with a 6.0 Unit V2 wing. Finally up and foiling on both tacks. Much more comfortable upwind than in a bean reach, but getting better. Towards the end of the session I figured out how to stop breaching the foil and manage some minute-long rides on both tacks. Unfortunately, while I felt like superman after the session, the next day showed me a stress fractures on my right big toe. It's swollen. :/ Wind coming again next Wednesday. I'm looking forward to trying WinD soon, but, we'll see.

Go with the longer fuse for windfoiling.

Thanks. Will do. I'm figuring out a couple more details... like, going with a 400 / 375 Progressive stabs, instead of my original plan of 400 progressive for WinG and 420 Speed for WinD.Sticking with HPS 980 / 880.

The only other details is skipping the Alu mast and going straight to their latest Power Carbon. I'll do that if I'm sure I don't need the tuttle mount. I'm pretty sure I can use the tracks the my board and still get the foil far back enough, if I also have my straps at the foremost set of inserts and the mast track slightly more forward.
