haha well yeah...last few years I would give it 30 mins & head back out, but not anymore...3 out of the 5 times I've had to come in this year have been bloody good too. I get real suspicious if there are decent waves & no one out.
Bit busy today though with about 9 frothers...

haha yeah I don't doubt there will be less than 30 in the line-up which is fine by me. Safety in numbers I feel these days & I'll still get waves...just saying I doubt the swell prediction is correct. Had another look & its still very small. Was the same on Monday, should have been alright but the swell direction needs to change...believe it or not

Pretty nice conditions this morning. Can't complain with metro waves at this time of year
That looks 10000000000 x better than the "real' metro beachies this morning.....knee to waist with the classic combo of ruler edge perfection if you like fast, reaaaaaalllllll fast waves, real shallow banks even at high tide, backwash and as many blokes up at 5am as there ever has been

Spot on. I got what I expected... a solid rail to the head for my troubles
Gents public service announcement, there was a three metre great white at scaborough yesterday, a friend was swimming at trigg and he also stated one was there, his call was 4 metres so not sure if same shark exagerrated or different.
This is not a shark debate, this is an observational service announcement
