can somebody please tell then why they can take their board to their local spot
surf it have a great time tell us all on sea breeze about how good the board went
how they got shacked roundhouse cutties smashing lips floaties laybacks ect ect
then sell that board.

what happened
Did some fairies appeared in the garage one night and change the shape or length of your board
maybe they also moved the local reef or rocks

Sounds like this question is directed at Lacey,so over to you Lacey

Is it. Oh well.

Short boards are very sensitive. Many moods swing.

Sometimes you just cant get along with them after the first couple of dates.
Its best to walk away from that relationship before someone gets hurt

Mals are big chucks of boards. No where near as sensitive.

Easy going and everybody gets along .
Still one guy is so superficial he dumps them on looks alone
How shallow is that guy

My wife owns more than 160 pairs of shoes, no, she's not a centipede, nor is her name Imelda Marcos.

That's why I feel no remorse in the occasional new board purchase.

What's good for the hoarder is good for the boarder

sorry drip, i deleted this from your quiver thread,,its not needed in there.

The way some of you blokes change your boards in the long room and i don't just mean longboards….

what's wrong with the board you own now
is it because you don't have enough knowledge of surfing and made poor decisions.
maybe its because you are better than the boards you are riding.

serious you blokes…you must know what you want by now,,,, rails rocker length width thickness shape WTF its not that hard.
How long have you blokes been surfing,,farkn long time from what I've heard so you blokes must know what you want.
on a serious note, is it just the art or the thrill of a new board.(the art question is not directed at Mac)
they ALL can't be average boards.

BTW I'm struggling to understand (thats not hard for me)
why so many blokes here change boards.

when i went through the SUP thing stage and purchased about 5 boards, why
because i didn't know anything about sup from vol too the width i needed and what i needed it for.
i figured it out about 12months ago and haven't purchased a board since.
am i good,,, NO FARKN WAY but i have an idea what the board can do and what i can do
and now i smile after every surf.

im not against new boards or peeps buying new things or OCD
I'm just interested

Fark I miss you in here ya fugly big bastard ...... get a big fat Mango up you & come back or I'll hump ya leg three times ya Cow herding nutter

I've only had 3 longboards & only have the CW Whalebone at the moment.

Other 2 are gone coz I got offers I could not refuse. I mean if I'm offered more for something than I think it is worth, I will sell it.

Or in the case of my first longboard I was offered a swap for the CW Whalebone, my board plus $400 for the Whalebone. Basically $600 for a board I'm still loving now just over 2.5 years later ...have had offers for the Whalebone, but not high enough. Would have to be about $1k

Other board I sold earlier this year, about mid year was a Modern Retro 10 footer. I'd had several offers over what I'd paid for it, eventually an offer I could not refuse came along & I sold it. Great Log for the tiny days & I'll probably miss it in a few weeks if the summer season resembles last year.

...just in response to Cobra above. I have 8 boards & still need at least 2 more for very little overlap in quiver. A gun & a log
