Well I went surfing unlike those other so called queenslanders![]()
Asea longest ride was a left today that new bank was good and pfff never listen to the surf reports or cams,it was fun on the redline could have ufo'd as well.
Cowrie, just not looking down, was trying to sneak through and jump between waves and went straight down, waist deep, got out thougt that was ****ed but no damage then took one step and went down. Again. Lucky it was winter and had a steamer on.
Mainly board damage, few dents and bit of glass damage but nothing I can't fix.and a few cuts on my feet, didn't stop me surfing but gee the cuts were stinging, the wind was drying the water and just leaving salt behind.
I'm blaming the GF, last thing she said was be safe, don't hurt yourself... Put the jinx on me I think..![]()

Sweet peelers on splice a solid 2 hours on low tide,some bigger ones came through as well,not many queenslanders out just me![]()
Good stuff Mac, glad someone got something, 4-5 ft and onshore here, supposedly there was a few early, but didnt bother getting up, more damage than i thought after yesterdays accident and struggling to walk with a damaged / swollen knee.![]()
Any rehab / recovery suggestions?
