Went out yesterday . Pretty small and weak as usual but managed to get a couple. Had a school of kingfish swim under me. They were big and on a mission. Great fish to catch .
Been out a few times since last time I was here. Banks have been pretty ordinary and with school hols coming up I'll have to pick my times very carefully or remerge after the kids have gone back to school. It's going to be packed here in the holidays I reckon.

Greenmount has been great for a while now nothing happening at LM worth a drive champ
Been plenty of waves over last couple of months, just had a break in the swell over last week but it's back again if you can dodge the wind, been getting a few on the Farrelly single fin which has gone through a gear change with a different fin in it. On the lookout for a log style board for the smaller days
Been the worst surf year ever here. Just bought steel spikes for my golf shoes and a mop im going curling.
Couldn't cross the border and headed home via macs heaven...scored a few chocolate barrels at kirra
Could not believe it was not packed

We only have chocolate waves here.
Went for a walk down to the local beach and the lagoon has well and truly opened up so this should be good for the banks with any luck. At the moment the ocean looks like a chocolate milkshake with more rain and a deep low forming . Crap weather and being unable to even go for a river paddle is driving me crazy .

My brother was just up from northern beaches this week and brought a nice swell.
stay safe breezers.
Had some fun waves on the local beachie on my longboard this morning - on my own. Water still looks like weak tea from the flooding.
I usually surf a mid-length at the beachie but took the CW Viper today which has a bit more rocker. Negotiation of the white water usually pushes me towards something I can duck dive a bit but the extra paddle speed was enjoyable.
Some competition is going on at Caba which has basically shut down the point to anyone. I'd be pissed off if I just booked a holiday there intending to go surfing.
Did a 10 day stint on the Goldy a couple weeks back. Water was gross but waves were well worth the effort. Worst summer I can remember down here so it was nice to finally score some.
Got out today for the first time in at least 6 weeks. Been howling onshore , dirty water and whenever it's been OK I've been rostered on at work. Pretty wobbly today but got a couple . 
Still a month away from going in the surf here at Lennox ,according to water quality people, it's an absolute mess,tried to surf 2 weeks ago between weather events and ended up with an ear infection ,I was lucky as there have been some nasty outcomes for crew from Byron down to Ballina

Daneli,first hand from life guards patrolling even though beach is officially closed,they have regular visits from Ballina shire ,and I think it's on there website
