Not long back. Waist to shoulder high and uncrowded. Wind was on it a little from the east but it was OK. Got a few nice waves and it was better than it looked. It's usually the other way around.

Good stuff mate not much of a crowd around, sharks or Com games must have frightened them away

It was the most uncrowded I've seen it for ages Mac. The banks are getting better as well. It's been pretty ordinary here for a while just like the weather you QLD ers are getting.
Much better today and bigger. Head high with some overhead sets and the banks are getting better. Got some pretty good waves. Looking good for my upcoming 2 month break. Some nice looking girls out there as well today. They all had their cozzies pulled up their backsides. Whats the go with that ? I'm not complaining just making an observation.

surfing, last one was with Vanders a few Fridays back.

I ended up going for a walk and got down to the beach to find it onshore but still not bad. Plenty of swell and the banks are starting to form.
I'll be doing other stuff in my break as well. I'll head out west for 10 days and hike and fish. I really want to catch a Murray Cod
Wont bother surfing on the weekend so I'll be back on Monday

Hahaha I don't think so smh. I remember seeing a few around Cronulla and a fair few on the reefs down your way when I was a grom., nothing up here except for two and one of them has talked me into it

I must say the couple of surfs I have had on a borrowed one that i am really suprised kneelos died. It is so fun and I recklessly say much easier than a stand up. So much speed, it still has me looking forward to going out and surfing any **** tommorw

Was back on the LB after several weeks on the SB ... flipping heck it was weird on the first few waves 
Once back in the saddle ..geez it was fun...looking forward to tomorrow
Friday arvo at long reef. Not great waves but lots of fun. What made it memorable was I was surfing with my eldest son. Pretty rare for that these days. He was on my 8 and I had the 9.

totally agreed ...when i can my son in the water with me its the greatest surf of all time
Managed to get a few before the southerly hit. Nice shoulder to head high waves. Beautiful weather too

We had some good waves yesterday....and today looks better.
Not long back and it was pretty bad Pretty bumpy from yesterdays southerly. I lasted half an hour and got three waves. It was rippy as well and hard to stay on . Doesn't matter though because you get days like that and it wont stop me from turning up again tomorrow.
