Just returned from some Padma Bank fun. Will be a lot better in an hour, but got to go to Nusa Lembongan now! Hanging for it although it's shaping up to be pretty small.

It's been great for the Groms but I've certainly had Bali Beachy overload and totally over the Aussie Bogan invasion. Any longer than two days in town is too much IMO.

HOWEVER.....at home it's been 13-16 in and out of the water here it's boardies and sunscreen...so ive got a lot to be thankful for.

From what I can make out on the charts, it will probably be Back Beach on Friday, Main or Mulla on Saturday and the A on Sunday.

I hope it builds more than the prediction.

No way it could be worse than Crescent on the last trip.

Unreal little waves today. Around shoulder high , offshore and some nice long runners. Bit of a school holiday crowd out there but they'll be gone next week. Water temp OK. Rode the 11 footer. Love that board

Yeah it turned out to be a very enjoyable morning. Started very small and built a little as the tide filled but very clean and glassy.
It was good to see Spazz and Ms Spazz turn up. I got a chance to ride the big 30kg 12' McT, what a beast!!! Spazz makes it look so easy to paddle on and turn but I can tell you that 30kg takes some effort to get moving, once on though the trim and glide is awesome!

Lacey had a date for a down winder so left us before the waves improved, and unfortunatly Pup got there just as we'd got out, but always good to see and surf with the crew.

The wales were also putting on a fantastic show with almost full body out of the water launches, they ended up only 100m from the point off Snapper, just added to the great morning.

Bumpy NE swell today with a nor easter on it. I was waiting around for the forecast westerly and got sick of that so went down and paddled up the beach and around the headland before coming back and catching a couple of ankle slappers. Better than nothing and the exercise does me good. Heading down the coast for three nights at the end of the week and hoping to get a few waves down there. Will take the fishing gear too.

Some called it the day of the year, but I reckon the froth was clouding their eyes due to the long spell of sh1t winds. Bloody good day though with very few crew & only one shark sighting or namely a huge splash out the back seen by a young bloke who later told us he'd had a big joint prior to paddling out, so wasn't sure.

Hope you score some good waves South of you smh

Hope so Mick. The swell forecast looks OK but the winds will be the deciding factor. Taking the girlfriend down so will be doing other things like checking out art and craft places but I'll have an eye on the surfing conditions for sure.
