Few fun ones ???? geez mate that's overhead and some

you have to re-adjust what is normal over here Pup - its a re-scaling as such ! I find myself questioning if I should paddle out as it does not look perfect - when back home you would be frothing and jumping out of your skin to paddle out. Need to retain focus at all times

Oh **** rescaling.... That is sick....

I absolutely understand rescaling Ted, both down and up the scale. Waves look like a lot of fun. Don't forget to stall.

Yes Mac looking forward to it. Maybe we should shoot for Sunset at Old Mans. Nice place to spend a few hours. Swell has dropped off a bit but still some fun spots on the higher tides.

That is a British bloke - think his name is Ruben Ash or similar. He rips. Very impressive surfer. Lots of rippers floating around.

Great shots Ted

Had a few fun ones this morning, bigger than expected at 1ft...Surfed 3 different reefs on the 666 & got washed across a shallow reef onto a beach which was pretty funny. I had sand everywhere

you wont be surfing in a year ted.

The local south point had quite bit of juice but I didn't do much with the crowds so I got out early when MR creased his nose and had to get out before it snapped off. Not long after that a mate of ours snapped his in two.

To give you an idea of what it was like, neither MR or the other guy broke their boards on a ride, they both did it while scrambling to get past big close out bomb sets and catching the lip.

They had some grunt in them, to get, in both me and MR sat inside waiting to prone in on a broken bombs and even then they had heaps of power, we were both worried that we'd cop the shory because it was impossible to stop. Mine didn't make a shory but MR was not so lucky, he was certain his nose would be fully snapped off.

MR said that the ride in felt like he was getting arse raped the whole way, I agreed.

That's to be expected as they don't usually inhabit the surf zone.

Got a few at Bells today... Great to finally get some solid surf again!...

My last wave was a ripper... From outside Rincon all the way to the beach! Finished right there at the main Bells stairs, and I said to myself, "you ain't gunna do better than that today son!"... So I headed up the stairs!

Wicked. Nothing better than ending on a high note. Good job on calling time when the smile was at its widest. Stoked for you? Which board were you on and how big were the waves?

They could do some serious damage. My only real experience came at Inji Point a couple of months ago and just saw numpty flailing out of control down the face multiple times and then this shipping container sweeping side to side. I had had a few waves before he arrived so I left after that the third or fourth time that occurred. Very sketchy.

No surfing for the last 2 days. Spent it negotiating land and access. The dream is getting very close. Stoked. New swell due in the morning - perfect timing !
