Quick update after a very short session in eensy waves:
Laying on zip is no issue, don't really notice it.
The tail is ..... gonski.
Happy with the wettie -- and with the unhip retro look.

It feels very very flexible, and much better for my shoulder with the front zip. I'm happy.
I've just got to say this was one of the best deals in a long time. Surfed with it now 3 times and it's awesome. I was a little worried cutting off the beaver tail I'd lose some of its ability to keep water from coming up from the bottom but it's worked out perfect. Nice and warm with almost no water influx. Loving the front zip too.
Best $56 bucks I've ever spent.
The big question is it 'the hipster coat jacket' apple candy pink like your new board.
I would pay good money to get a photo of that combo.

i must say i am suprised it is comfortable . When i saw them,which i posted earlier. It just did not have seams or paddle panels? which when i was stretching them all seemed restrictive.....i will stick with the new technology on this one...thank you mr xcel

yeh i sussed out a oneil one and a billabong one. i love oneil,and im anti billabong,but the billabong one was way sexy i might buy it just to compare.....the rubber was stretchy on both,but compared to the non front zip hipster models they seemed pretty restrictive....that is on a dry land test.....
