Sombrero

Taking this more seriously now.
Had a thing cut off my leg, left calf, January 9.
2 weeks out while stitches and stuff settle down
1 week in, called back in to the doctor, it was a melanoma, follow up surgery required.
4 to 6 weeks out.
Looked at my sun protection plan - none.
Head the obvious first point of contact.
Bought various kook hats, brims not wide enough, sunburnt lips after first week.
Bought branded FCS kook hat, largest size, too small, ear covers good but brim not big enough.
Got a Shelta hat from US, I look like a dick, but front brim rigid, sides to shade the ears, back good.
Good chin strap, cord to adjust head size, fits me, tie down loop on back to stop it going missing.
Now I only need to grab the glasses when I get hammered, not the hat.
